Setting up a human version like the Salarians STG, that's a pretty cool idea, the asari have their commandos, humanity would benefit from having a similar organisation in their arsenal, the human Spectres are there but they would be too high profile, also the N7 programme is there but a concentrated group specialising in espionage, sabotage, assassination, infiltration and such Miranda would excell at the helm of such an organisation.

Agreed. Basically that's what Miranda says she wants Cerberus to be, but it never really was that, so it makes sense that Miranda would start over with something new, but in keeping with that concept of a "Special Tasks Group" for humanity.

So, I think that's one of the best ideas.

Someone just said Auto-dialogue was a great addition to ME3 in the story forum.

Somewhere, in a far off land, a kitten just exploded because of those words being uttered.

I'm a Soldier through and through. Adrenaline Rush, AP ammo, Incendiary ammo, and grenades **** **** up. Plus the weapons bonus doesn't hurt either.

Ha lol:D Damn you folk here move crazy fast, reading through Retribution a few weeks back and it still annoys me how much they butchered Kai Leng in the game, I loved him in the books  but what the hell was that in the game, ugh the world's most ineffective assassin, in the books he gets the job done, oh Drew we miss you:(

The whole being railroaded into being the alliance's golden boy sucks too. I can see (and take) being railroaded into the alliance, but the fact that my attitude can't reflect that I'm not happy with it. Or how Anderscum gets forced into being my BFF, when in the previous game, my Shepard has lost his faith in the man after he ordered the VS to spy on Shepard? Or telling Hackett that he's going to play the game his way, and if he's smart he'll join Shepard and listen to him? Or taking the alliance dogtags and throwing them back at Anderscum? Or introducing the 2 war room guards to Javik and his best friend the airlock?

Cerberus has gone too far in ME3, but they've been indoctrinated, and their plan may well have succeeded. And despite the fact that they were opposing Shepard, they were still trying to find a way to stop the Reapers. And they were the only group that stood behind Shepard from the beginning. Meanwhile the alliance runs to him to solve their problems and when he does they imprison him for it, and expect him to be a happy, drooling buffoon of a poster boy to get them funding and recruits.

My Shepard kind of goes through a kind of existential crisis during the events of ME2. He sort of silently debates his role and purpose, VERY similar to Peter Parker in Spiderman 2. Do I abandon everything, including my own hope and stake in the future and possibly even my life because everyone else is in too much denial to deal with the threat? Or do I walk away and live my life the way I want to for me? Basically with great power comes great responsibility, and my Shepard realizes that he has a moral responsibility to fight for the people of the galaxy including himself and his own stake which comes to circle around Miranda and the life he wants to share with her. It isn't easy, especially when several people including Miranda briefly lose faith in their Commander because of his dilemma. But after a chat with TIM, who actually gives him some surprisingly sagely words of advice and wisdom, Shepard once again proves that he will fight wholeheartedly against the Reapers.

Has anyone else thought about Anderson's line "You did good, son" literally? When playing spacer-Shep I actually did, since his father is a mystery the entire time. I think Anderson was actually intended to be Shep's father, but I can't tell.

He's not. Age is one limiting factor. Anderson was born in 2137. He only would have been 17 years old, and I think by then it would still be statuatory rape by Shepard's mother.

Ideally, food.

In all seriousness... I vote for crepes.

I used to be strictly Soldier, but I gave Sentinel a shot during one of my recent ME2 playthroughs and think I'll stick with that (though I'm considering Infiltrator with my last FShep that I still have to play ME2 with).

Eggs that are cooked differently (Sunnyside-up, Scrmbled, ete) everyday with three pieces of bacon, two sausage, and maybe an English Muffin if she's in the mood. Her drink of choice would probably be either really black Coffee or some type of juice.

....I really just pulled that out of my ass...

I doubt he's actually the father and I never saw it that way.

But I do see Anderson as a mentor. He's kind of like Roy Campbell to Solid Snake. And he's a boss.

Wish we had more opportunities to explore that connection in ME2 onwards. He has a line in ME3 "Sir? Who gave you permission to go all formal on me?" It would've been stronger if it had been reaffirmed earlier.

Why crepes? I figured it would be a nice cup of Coffee, eggs, bacon, sausage, and possible pancakes.

Or maybe strawberry scones.....

Depends on where Shep was born. Not every place has 18 as the legal age. Some have 16 (others still may be even lower).

Even so, in the first book, Anderson is mentioned as having an ex-wife and a daughter. That's it.

If anything, I think it would be possible for Hackett to be Shep's father (in my FShep's headcanon, he is).

Also, Anderson says that regardless of background. Earthborn's parents are completely absent and Colonist is said to have witnessed their deaths.

Spacer Shepard's parents were lifelong military.

I dunno about the Alliance, but I doubt minors can join into service.

I disagree. Anderson stabbed Shepard in the back in ME2, and when Shepard was arrested by the alliance (I say arrested because at the end of Arrival he pretty much tells Hackett and the alliance to **** off.) Anderson was the one to take the him and the Normandy back to Earth, then take apart MY ship and call it theirs, and then tell me I have permission to use it. If I knew I had to turn myself over to the alliance, I would have told Miranda to take Normandy and her crew and run, hide, and find ways to stop the Reapers until I called for them.

I'm letting TIM finish off Anderson in all my endings from now on.
