You do realize they had to try Shepard for Arrival to avoid war with the Batarians right? And no matter now much butthurt you have over the Alliance, Shepard understands this as well. Oh and regardless of how much you Renegade it Hackett tells you, the time will come when you'll be called. The time comes and Shepard goes with it, like it or not. And given what we see of Anderson I'm sure he made the transition the smoothest it could be.fiendishchicken wrote...
I disagree. Anderson stabbed Shepard in the back in ME2, and when Shepard was arrested by the alliance (I say arrested because at the end of Arrival he pretty much tells Hackett and the alliance to **** off.) Anderson was the one to take the him and the Normandy back to Earth, then take apart MY ship and call it theirs, and then tell me I have permission to use it. If I knew I had to turn myself over to the alliance, I would have told Miranda to take Normandy and her crew and run, hide, and find ways to stop the Reapers until I called for them.
I'm letting TIM finish off Anderson in all my endings from now on.
I compared Anderson-Shepard to Campbell-Snake for a reason. Campbell screws over Snake enough times as well. But their bond goes deeper regardless.
Unfortunately, my Shepard sees Andersons betrayal in ME2 as the same as that of the VS on Horizon. My Shepard goes to fight the Collectors and the Reapers, does everything he can to save the colonists and protect the galaxy and fight for the principles he believes in, even if that means doing what he did during Arrival. And what happens?
They label him as a traitor to everything he's presently fighting for, just because he's not playing on their team.
And my Shepard never really had the best relationship with Anderson. They did their fair share of headbutting in ME1. One of my favorite moments of ME1 was refusing to salute Rear Admiral Mikhaelovich, and telling him to **** off when he wanted to inspect Normandy.
