I wonder if the differences in how the slides are appearing has something to do with that apparent bug related to these slides and/or them fixing the aforementioned bug.

I would actually prefer to see both slides as the standard behavior.

Would definitely be nice to see both. It's a pity how it is currently as i massively prefer the non romance slide to the romance one.

Well, if some people are seeing both, I was wondering if it might be related to a patch/bug fix, or downloading the EC at a later time? Just a thought.

My guess is that it is like the Donnelly/Daniels bug which is down to your affection with Ashley. Some random choice that has inadvertantly linked to those slides. Think if there was a patch we would have heard about it.

Hmmm, yeah, that could be.

I looked at the Planet Scanning from ME2 similarly. It wasn't horrible and wasn't dificult to do in the slightest. Just boring. And I saw it was a nessicary evil so I lived fine with it. Better than the Mako. Hated the Mako. Mostly because Thresher Maws just LOVED to come up just bellow me and insta-kill. -_-"

Pfft. Thresher Maw fighting with the Mako is for sissies.

Well, no. It's actually quite a bit easier to kill them on foot. Just keep out of the targeting help range and strafe and you'll be OK. Also you get 2.5 times the xp for killing things on foot. I never fight in the Mako. I like the Mako, I've learned to handle that "drunk rhino" right.

Explosive rounds and grenades make it too easy.

Real men take thresher maws, stare them in the tentacle, and when they lunge at you, whip out your manliness and make it happen. That's how my Shepard broke so many hearts.

I find it funny that Bioware had, what? 3 Months to make a 1 Gig. DLC which mostly consisted of a slideshow and its still filled with bugs....

I wasn't expecting much at all, and I got more than I thought we'd get, but looking back, the EC is terribly disappointing in every aspect.

The outcome of the trilogy should have been decided through your actions through the trilogy. not some last second a,b,c choice.

I wouldn't have minded if the game took over for an hour as choices worked themselves out...

Almost 2 gigs, really. It's what, 1.96 GB?

And almost all of it is the PowerPoint slides.

I'm on youtube watching Yvonne video's because I'm awesome, and it's funny to see all the comments that are like "OMG That's her real voice?" or "Why is she talking in an Australian accent? It sounds weird."

People. I think her natural voice is awesome and sounds best, though you have to admit, she made an American accent sexy as hell in Chuck.

It's also kind of weird to think of Yvonne as Polish, which is what she technically is. She's Australian by birth. I find that odd for some reason. I don't know why either.

(she is like Polish car made in Australia.)

Her voice is sexy, regardless of accent used.

Correction, her everything is sexy.

I dunno. One of the reasons I never watched Chuck is because Yvonne's American accent seemed so.... Alien. Like, in literally almost every other appearance or voice recording I've heard from her she's using her natural accent. It would be like if Bale's Batman started talking like a normal person in the 4th movie.

You're probably aware that, technically, Miranda's accent isn't her regular accent. Though it SHOULD be.

There are plenty of people like that, children of immigrants. Not sure what' odd about that ;P I saw some videos where she speaks Polish and it ain't perfect anyway. She's fluent in it but if she ever wanted to star in a Polish-language movie, she would have to do quite a bit of refreshing and work on the accent.

I always thought her 'American' accent (I saw right through it, but then again I can tell accents pretty well considering I've lived in most of the places those accents are from) was incredibly sexy. It sounds kind of odd at first, but as Chuck went on, it got a lot better, and hotter.

And not really a synthesis. Both of her parents are full Poles, born and raised in Poland, from strictly Polish families. She even only speaks in Polish to them.

I don't mean as in it's completely different, it's just more of a regular Australian accent. In an interview, I've seen her refer to Miranda's voice as a 'neutral' Australian accent, as it fits the character a bit better.

If you watch clips of her scenes in Headland, that's what she used to sound like. With Chuck, a lot of that American crept into her normal voice (still sexy, obviously). :P

Like a reverse Kate Beckinsale.

I know. My post was not entirely serious. Almsot none of them are.

If they properly packed the DLC or whatever the proper term is, The DLC is actually 1 GB. I think the 1.96 was just to get fans excited. It had me ****ting my pants.

According to a number of people on BSN (I only play ME on the Xbox, so I have no idea if it's true or not), the files are uncompressed, which explains the large download size.

Miranda's accent is more of a refined North Sydney accent (I lived in Sydney for a year as a teenager). It's the high class area of Sydney, and no doubt Mr. Lawson made his creation (because she was a daughter to him in name only) take vocal lessons to speak like a lady, but Miranda also has a hint of Yvonne's west Sydney accent (where she is from) that shines through, and can be explained as Miranda denying her father in another aspect. Yvonne's west Sydney accent is also a Melbourne accent as well. I know it sounds odd, but even the Australians have discernable accents. The Hollywood Australian accent you hear is more of a redneck accent to the Aussies. As far as say in comparison of Yvonne's accent goes, hers is more like a London accent when compared with say a Manchester or Birmingham accent. American wise, it's kind of difficult to make a comparison there. Yvonne's normal accent is at most like what a Midwestern accent (Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan) compared to say a Harvard or Yale accent.

In reference to Hot_Hearts post, it's a lot like that. Just like a Midwestern accent is seen as a 'neutral' American accent.

It doesn't sound too different.

Then again, I'm awful at discerning accents.

That's the term! Thank you. Compressed, The DLC is around the 1 GB marker, I think.
