@kaymarierose:
Very nice scenes! I support the request for a kiss scene.

(ME3 should've had that unconditionally. To restrict it to the death version is insulting)

Edit: obligatory top-of-the-page Miranda picture:

I wonder what kinky biotic sex would be like for the two.
For me Miranda is the biotic in the couple. Shepard is a soldier.

My Shepard is a Sentinel. Double biotics = double pleasure?

That also just reminded me of something that was never touched on a lot in the ME2

The issue over biotics. It doesn't have to be anything like the X-men, but it's kind of interesting if you think about it.

What would Miranda have though about the treatment of biotics?

Well, it isn't like biotics are discriminated against like mutants in X-men. Biotics are treated rather equally, or sometimes with higher prestige in some circles (IIRC, the Alliance offers, what was it, triple the paygrade for biotics as opposed to non-biotics?).

How is Miranda biotic anyway? She was born in 2150. Initial human exposure wasn't until 2151 (singapore).

It's never explained, but I prefer to think Henry Lawson had been researching element zero and its effects on the human body. Thus, Miranda.

Umm, guys, I think you will find that Miranda's drink of choice is a Tevuran Mist. ;)

I thought it was a Tupari Juice?

I think everyone drinks that as a matter of course. After all, there was a man who went three days without Tupari. And he got hit by a shuttle. I heard it from a legitimate source.

From the Codex:

Unfortunately, human biotics also face suspicion and persecution, beginning with the popular misconception that they can read and control minds. Biotics symbolize the dehumanization of mankind to people philosophically or religiously opposed to gene modification and cybernetics. Militaries are the only organizations that always welcome biotics, offering them huge recruitment incentives.

Sounds like discrimation to me.

I have speculated that her eezo nodules were implanted after the potential of biotic was discovered in 2157. There is historical precedence for such a thing among the krogan. It's dangerous, and Miranda's superior healing abilities may have ensured her survival.

I've learned to stop taking the codex seriously, what with the contradictions between its information and displayed in-game information. Namely that biotics in-game are never discriminated against.

Plus that isn't actually discrimination, since it isn't being acted upon. That's just prejudice. Discrimination is what happened in 1960's America to African-American people.

Other than the obvious continuity error explanation, I guess the other possibility is that Henry was somehow ahead of everybody else, or invented some other procedure to make Miranda a biotic at a later point.

Given his wealth, scientific expertise and obsessions, I guess it is possible.

I didn't see that word.

Either way, I'm not going to go with it. for reasons I've already stated.

Has anyone here played on Insanity? Just coming back from Eden Prime. Regular Cerberus enemies are easy, but that Atlas takes forever to bring down.

Use Tech Bursts, prime with Overload detonate with any other tech or biotic trigger power. does massive damage to all nearby shielded enemies.

Not so easy to do if you only have Liara, Vega and Adept-Shepard  Anyway the shields aren't so much the problem rather than the armor.

What armor set are you using? If you switch to Inferno Armor Shepard can rain down biotic explosions that will tear apart armor. Vega can use Carnage and Frag Grenade to help out too.

Have you tried that on Insanity? Warp4+Throw6 takes away half a segment of Atlas armor if I'm lucky. Carnage and Frag Grenade the same. Once you've killed the Cerberus goons accompanying it, it's not that hard, actually, but it still takes forever.

I know the feeling Brother.

Since I played Vanguard, Insanity was PAINFULLY difficult. I'm so used to being able to charge, suicide bomb, and then run away. Gah. Most of my playthrough relied more on my combat skills rather than biotics. I used Pull A LOT though. I would highly recomend Reave as a second power. You get it from Kaidan after the Cerberus Coup. Just talk to him BEFORE talking to Garrus infront of the Memorial Wall. Talking to Garrus takes away the Kaidan Conversation for some reason.

I also used a Team of Garrus and Kaidan as they could really melt almost anything. Kaidan and Garrus could melt sheilds with Overload while Kaidan and I were great a melting armor.

Well, Descriminating against the heavily armed Miranda would be a REALLY bad idea. In fact, Nearly every Biotic is heavily armed, with or without guns. I headcanon that they're desciminated against from a safe distance, but not exactly to their faces.

Turian shopkeeper: Look at you people, with your telekinetic powers! Hey *points to Liara*, I think this asari's tryna read my mind or something. Get out of my store!

Shepard: ... Whaddaya mean, "you people"?

O . o

When did that happen?

And, I'm surprised that the biotic discrimination would be found outside of humans. Humans are new to this mess and everything but Turians have been around the Asari for, what, thousands of years?

I was never really a fan of the loyalty outfit simply because it's just a little too shiny, but it works well here to blend her into shadow. Not that that's the artist's intended interpretation.

I suppose this has the same effect.

Just saying, if you're comfortable with the gameplay, insanity in ME3 is a joke. I blasted my way through using a soldier Shep (M-96, fortification, adren rush and incendiary ammo) with Vega most of the time (gave him an M-76 with explosive incendiary) and Garrus or Kaiden. There were times where I could just hide in cover and let Vega kill everything lol. The only times I had trouble was the Grissom Academy Auditorium and the Banshee spam during the final mission before the conduit run. ME3 insanity is nothing like insanity in ME2 or 1. MP gold is definitely harder than insanity in this game.

The banshee spam is the only thing I couldn't beat, but I was playing as a soldier on my first playthrough, so I'm hoping second time with level 10 weapons will be the charm.

Yeah, the Banshee spam was annoying. I ended up giving up on my squadies and I just ran until EDI said to activate the launcher. Then I popped adren rush and used the time dilation/damage reduction to sprint to the launcher without dying. I'd like to keep my squad alive for reasons not relevant to the actual gameplay, but I just couldn't.

Grissom Academy gave me trouble on Inasnity but it was more out of the fact I wasn't used to the very tiny margin of error in Insanity rather than legitimatly screwing up. Oh, and big giant open areas with low level equipment is a bad idea.
