Yes. With my FSheps. I have two MSheps, one custom (my Ashleymancer). His look was fine in ME2 after I re-did it (didn't have the "face code" from the first game and knew I would therefore have problems importing him to ME3), but his look in ME3 was off. I didn't feel like messing around with him though, so I put up with it. In hindsight, I probably should have had him be another Sheploo.LanceSolous13 wrote...
I just thought of a rather....disturbing parallel.
Henry Lawson is no different than a player creating a new character for Mass Effect.
Think about it. Has it ever happened to you that you create a character for ME or any other game with character creation. You like how they look in the tutorial zone. But then, Your suddenly in the main game. Maybe its the lighting. Maybe you just never noticed. But now there's that one thing about their face or their body that is constantly bugging you. So, what do you do? You delete them and rebuild them to avoid that one flaw which is keeping them from being "Perfect".
This, in my mind, explains to me why Henry was so willing to despose of Miranda so late after development instead of simply fixing the issue herself. All those before her were no more disposable than a used napkin; Why would Miranda be any different?
And, because he tried to eliminate her so late after development, Miranda was smart and resouceful enough to escape and, later, foil her father.
"I'll always want you in my life." Miranda Lawson in Mass Effect 3

I sort of wonder what Miranda's previous interactions with Leng were. You know, before ME3. What casues her to call him a 'slippery bastard'? I know he is one, but what makes her believe that.
Could be an interesting story to tell there.
That's actually a fair description. He's a bastard and he's slippery. He runs anytime **** gets too rough for him.
I would think she would be aware of Kai Leng's status as TIMs top assassin.
And being Miranda, she made preparations accordingly when you warned her. Which you should always do.
Still could be an interesting story. She knows him well enough that she can avoid being killed by him and even put a tracking device on him. Not saying thats an imposisble thing to do but I doubt Shepard could do so considering the events of Thessia.

I was very proud of her when she said that she had put that tracker on him.
Clever girl.
How would she prepare though? Installing an adarenaline module would be enough as staying away from him is enough to not be killed. <_<

Making mistakes is not an option.
There's something about your post that sounds familiar for some reason
A very... Miranda-esque sentiment, I guess.
Anyway, my point was more: no need to worry about it. If we didn't have anything to gain from talking with each other, there wouldn't be much point in our being here.

I know I'm really late here, but I love that line too!
But when you say she could have if she wanted to...
Yes, I'm sure she could have. But I'm also sure she wanted to do it. But she was smart enough to know that if things went south, she and Shepard could have possibly ended up on death row. She did what was best for them and waited. (Unlike Jacob)

She probably went out to the store to buy a box of Lucky Charms to prepare. It distracted Kai Leng long enough for Miranda to make her escape.

And bet she thought about it more than once. I chuckle when I hear that. She's much less on her guard with her emotions in ME3.
She let's it slip that it was hard to be away from him. I can't imagine how excited she is on the inside to see him.

Why was Leng at sanctuary in the first place? I've only played through the game once so forgive me if I do not recall correctly. He wasn't there to intercept Miranda, cause they had no idea she was coming. It just seemed like there was no real reason why he was there
If I remember, He was there to 'clense' Sanctuary of Cerberus involvement. The Reapers knew what they were up to, their project had failed, and Henry Lawson was too much of a wild card to know where his loyalties lie and he'd outlived his usefulness. Leng was there for clean up duty and to recover anything of value. He was also ordered to kill Miss Lawson if she go involved.

Yeah, sorry, I just meant that if she'd chosen to do it, I doubt the alliance could have stopped her. But yeah, she did the prudent thing.

yeah but if he was there to "clean up" that would have involved taking out ol' Henery right....... yet he dosen't...... why? I hate haveing to question the logic behind every action Cerberus takes in this game

Well, "slippery" in that he regularly coats himself in butter so he can do ballerina tricks easier, and "bastard" because he's illegitimate. What's to misconstrue?

Henry was more than aware of what had happened there. A potential leak would be disastrous. He was of no use anymore anyway.
Although sometimes I feel Kai Leng is just there because Walters put him there.

I'm still hoping that when Rach has a little more free time she can do one with Leng as a ballerina eating a bowl of cereal.

I think Leng more than assumed that either Miranda and Henry would kill eachother or Henry or Miranda would kill the other and then be overun by Husks. Its apparent he didn't think this though...
Thane is right, He's a poor excuse for an assassin.

Miranda manages to get a tracker on him as well. He's supposed to be the best? Maybe Miranda did more to him than we thought.
Or he really just is that incompotent.

Well, there was his submission of Paul Grayson and his slitting the throat of Aria's daughter.
It's like Deception/ME3 Kai Leng is a completely different Kai Leng.

yeah i'd go with the latter. I'm still not even sure why his character even exists, his purpose is really only to remove thane and miranda from the game, he litteraly gets nothing else acomplished.

In the old script, IIRC, he was supposed to kill Wrex and the VS (based on choices, of course).

I'll give you one guess as to who wrote him in ME3.
That's why Kai Leng is the way he is.
