Why do people insist on putting Miranda in her undies in this type of picture? Seriously.

I don't know. But I really like her face in this picture. Where did you find it?

I'm still not too hopeful about TIM's character even without indoctrination. I still can't shake the feeling the whole Cerberus plot is due in large part to fan pandering (much like Garrus/Tali being squaddies all this time) and needing to create an enemy that can draw more of an emotional response from the player than the Reapers.

I'd like to believe Alliance vs Cerberus is a plot that has been expandanded through the ME series and will now come into conclusion in ME3.
Unfortunately, I think Bioware is just giving the oportunity for some fans to exact their elaborated revenge fantasies on Cerberus. It's scary, really. I hope some of these people never meet a real terrorist.

i think it's just the angle and the fact that her neck is in shadow. i like the pose/image more than the dedicated litho.

I like the pose as well. And the fact that she has a prominent position
I won't buy it though. Not worth the extra $25 for shipping. Things may change if they bring some to GamesCom.

I agree. I would have liked much more if Bioware decided to make the Alliance and Cerberus interchangable in their role in ME3, so that Shepard could have decided to follow one of the two organizations.
Despite I'm not a big fan of Cerberus, they are the only one who decided to fight the Collectors and the Reapers in ME2.

As a rule I don't mind, though in many cases it adds nothing to the scene. This one would work better with a regular outfit - I'm sure Miranda doesn't want to be see that way from the other ship :/

Isn't it obvious? Some immature people believe that she can't keep her clothes on around Shepard. <_< I never thought it would be this hard to be a fan and appreciate a character. But there you have it. Is that difficult to move beyond the hotness? It's like some dudes never seen an attractive female before.

Aren't the viewing windows on a space ship one way mirrors?

Actually, the reason shes dressed like that is because of the middle light that makes the white outfit glow too bright and is way too eye catching, the black outfit was way too dark and this just seemed to blend better. None of it was really thought about or planned either I was just playing around.

I thought the reason she was wearing it like that was actually because Shephard and her were about to get amorous?

Originally it was just a hug scene, later i changed her outfit because the white one was driving me crazy trying to get the lighting right and they were supposed to be on the normandy, but then I decided the background was dull and added the ship in.

Very interesting quote about TIM. I wonder if it means Miranda might be indoctrinated on the Renegade path?

That would deprive Renegade Shepards who romance Miranda of their LI. I very much doubt it will happen, and I'm very, very, very glad that it probably won't. What I can see is her trying to get away from Cerberus because she's discovered that TIM indoctrinates his people.

I don't know what to really take from that quote. It's times when Mac opens his mouth like that it feels like TIM is getting further and further away from being morally 'gray.' Obviously, I don't know the full story but I'm not sure how you can have a sympathetic character like that, and isn't that what you want from your characters? An ability to see past their madness and see what triggered them to act the way they did?

I mean; look at Saren. I don't know about other people but I can understand how he came to the conclusion of the inevitability of Reaper victory.

Am I just looking at the narrative now with just too much optimism that somehow, not everything is as it seems? That for some characters it truly is just WYSIWYG?

Yeah, that makes more sense. I think we'll see Miranda in one of two ways: a reluctant Cerberus ally or on the run. I don't think ypur shadow organization theory is likely.

This is an old classic, made by our thread regular, Yannkee, shortly after LotSB came out. So it's well-known here. BTW, Miranda doesn't have a middle name. That's just something invented by some fanfic writer.

cerberus were pretty unsubtle in ME1, reversed in ME2, i do think there'll be more to it than cardboard villainy, just so much is unknown to fill-in the gaps.

So with TIM not indoctrinated. There is still some possibility he is still a leading antagonist.

But who knows? He may share the same fate as Saren, but I don't think anyone wants Saren Part 2 lol.:P

It's only speculation.

Did CH specifically say the TIM is an antagonist in ME3?

The combination of

(1) Cerberus accounts for about 40% of the enemies in ME3.
(2) TIM is still leading Cerberus

Makes that pretty clear I think. But of course it's possible he doesn't stay an antagonist if we make certain decisions.

Maybe. But I hope it's not too similar to Saren.

Having another Saren-like conflict would only be a recycled plot. Which I don't think anyone wants.

"Sorry Shepard..." *TIM shoots himself.*

If what you say is true, then it would be interesting to see TIM redeem himself, without commiting suicide lol.:P
