I'd actually dispute Liara being the favored LI, but that's neither here nor there.

One thing: Miranda is human. You need a few humans as something familiar, but humans don't "sell" like aliens do. The devs strike me as somewhat cynical. Miranda's T&A was her "selling" point. Give that to Ash and you don't really need Miranda in a big role. Not that I agree.

And that's what strikes me as bad.

Aliens just aren't physically attractive.

If I were trapped on Thessia as the only human, I'd die a virgin.

Especially, Tali she's physically repulsive to me in a sexual sense.

The head tentacles on asari are freaking creepy.

I have no idea how Thane and Garrus romancers put up with it.

Sure character matters, but not if the person in question looks like godzilla. I have standards, and I'm not breaking them.

I think people like the idea of exotic. People seem to think it makes them forward thinking because their character is having a relationship with an alien and I've seen this stated.

I don't really care.

But whoever made that life sized Tali doll...

Well, that sucks for you, but thousands would disagree, lol. People see a lot of things in different types of people/aliens - whatever (from a Mass Effect viewpoint).

I think of exotic as a Brazilian girl or Argentinian girl.
Sexual Relationships with an alien just disgust me. I'm all for them, but I'm never having one.

I don't think aliens are going to enter the picture in our life time.

But when they do, someone, somewhere, will want to have sex with it.

How does it suck for me? I have an Australian (my dream girl) woman who is genetically engineered to be perfect (raven hair and blue eyes, also a part of my dream girl) and she is the very strong, competent, incredibly intelligent, mysterious, and downright deadly woman with a bit of the ice queen (I LOVE ice queens) who warms up enough to you and only you so that you know that what you and her share is truly special and meaningful. Plus she's definitly a knock-out in bed, and on the 10/10 beauty scale she goes up to 11.

Ok? You won't know till you're actually put in a situation like that because people like to say certain thigns till it actually happens. Wasn't saying it in a negative aspect either, just saying that not everyone views Miranda or Liara in the same way you do.

It's mindless escapism. If I going to do that I'd like it to be at least pleasant.

If I'm playing a video game I'm going to gravitate towards the characters I like the most.

But Miranda's relationship with Shepard is meaningful, she's going to be the most dedicated partner in the galaxy.

I'd rather have that for my Shepard than someone who's lusting after him because of his status.

Interesting find here. These are the real life models for several of the female characters.

Ashley Williams: http://en.wikipedia....iki/Erica_Cerra

Liara T'Soni: http://en.wikipedia..../Jillian_Murray

Miranda Lawson: If you don't know this you're on the wrong thread. http://en.wikipedia....onne_Strahovski

Samara: http://c3mp.tumblr.c...oria-thearishok

Just curious where you found that out. Some of the people over in the Ash thread want Erica Cerra to play Ash in a live-action ME movie, but I don't think anybody has said she's her model. They think it's some Eastern European model.

Admittedly, I do see a resemblance.

Yeah, I never read anything about that as well. I knew about Jillian and Samara's face model, but as far as I knew, Ashley wasn't really based on anyone. They do look a like, however Cerra doesn't have Ash's ugly nose.

Fact: I find Tali and Asari physically repulsive and have no inclination to ever have sex with one (except possibly Samara)

Aliens are unattractive to me. They're not human. I know for a fact I am only capable of dating human females that are at least a 7/10 and have a college degree in something useful.

Don't know why you're getting worked up. I never said anything about anyone else. I stated my opinions and only my opinions.

And for the record, Liara is a clingy psycho and an obsessed stalker. And her personality rubs me completely the wrong way. I don't think highly of her at all.

Why would you, or anyone, ever romance Allers?

To answer your question though, I believe it's possible, but don't take my word for it.

Ieldra and I disagree all the time. It's nothing new.

I choose to not let personal feelings override someone's opinion or interpretation. That would be unfair to them. I don't care if your opinion differs from mine.

This is also the internet, tone is difficult to tell.

If you're taking everything I say as dead serious you're in serious trouble.

I think Tom Cruise's nose is charming, doesn't mean it's pretty.

My concern is the marketing, not how much she's been paid.

For a character that was the poster child of the last game, I just think it's odd that they would sideline her THIS much.

That's my issue.

She was the focus as a new character in the last game, but not this game (ME3).  They seem to change with each game
She can be dead in ME3 too, and Bioware doesn't take risks like giving her a meaty role.
Weekes already said they create missions that everyone can play regardless of who is dead or alive.

Focus in ME3 marketing was to get new folks into the series too

I don't think it would have been such an issue to find a character that takes Miranda's tasks for the unfortunate case that she is dead: Mordin, Legion, Garrus and Tali all got respectable roles, regardless of their possible death.

I can't imagine a single meaningful Cerberus plot where EDI would be unable to replace Miranda...

Yeah i have issues with the fact they built a squad round pleasing ME1 fans and those people who murdered their entire ME2 crew. Basically if you are a ME1 character that can be dead you get proper content. No reason Miranda's could be dead status should stop her getting the fitting content in the Cerberus arc that she deserves.

In fact I'm not sure why anyone would take everything so seriously in this thread anyway.

I see no problems in having a jovial attitude towards things.
