Don't know why you're getting worked up. I never said anything about anyone else. I stated my opinions and only my opinions.

And for the record, Liara is a clingy psycho and an obsessed stalker. And her personality rubs me completely the wrong way. I don't think highly of her at all.

You sound like the one getting worked up. :P

I thought he was saying I actually like Liara. I liked her in one scene and one scene only.

:devil::devil::devil::devil:

btw @ares91, Taboo is a badass mother****er. I speak in hyperbole, but he's a cool, chill dude.

Ieldra and I disagree all the time. It's nothing new.

I choose to not let personal feelings override someone's opinion or interpretation. That would be unfair to them. I don't care if your opinion differs from mine.

This is also the internet, tone is difficult to tell.

If you're taking everything I say as dead serious you're in serious trouble.

Then I shouldn't take the Top Billing/Chobot issue seriously then? :P

It's first billing, not top billing. There's a difference.

The point I'm trying to make is that everyone assumes everyone is out to get everyone else.

We're not. I truly don't care about trying to change other peoples interpretations because I know it can't be done.

But that doesn't mean a vigourous debate about it is out of the question.

Yeah, I never read anything about that as well. I knew about Jillian and Samara's face model, but as far as I knew, Ashley wasn't really based on anyone. They do look a like, however Cerra doesn't have Ash's ugly nose.

In fact I'm not sure why anyone would take everything so seriously in this thread anyway.

I see no problems in having a jovial attitude towards things.

It's hard to detect tone, etc. online, so I can understand why people might misinterpet things.

I tend to just try and be as tactful as possible.

If all else fails, use copious amounts of smilies. :o

Well, at the risk of getting stones thrown at me, when it comes to ME3 Liara is a much better character than Miranda. Of course, Walters is the reason for that. If any character deserves bashing is ME3 Miranda.

I'd say Miranda gets more done than she does.

But Diana Allers is the worst, I'm sorry.

Yes, Liara only found out about the Catalyst and Miranda spent the whole game chasing her sister. I see why you think Miranda got more done /sarcasm.

Yeah, Allers is the worst, we can agree on that. But she's so useless that I forget about her sometimes.

Ashleys nose is charming...   <3

I think Tom Cruise's nose is charming, doesn't mean it's pretty.

Yeah... Too bad the rest of his body is batsh*t crazy!

Liara sets the plot into motion.

She really doesn't need to be there past relaying the information about the Crucible and the Catalyst.

Traynor also gets more done than she does.

I'm sorry but I absolutely hate Ashley as well. I mean, I utterly detest her. I won't do any character bashing, but PM if you want to know why (or look back a few pages and see if I went on a prior rant. I probably did)

She also helps the Alliance with the Broker's resources and she's a powerful biotic, very useful as a squad if you're not playing adept. Miranda doesn't really do anything.

Oh, I do love when a lurker gets butthurt because not everyone loves his favorite character and decides to post something to try make things right for him. Though to be honest, I thought this was more of a Kaidanite thing.

If it were up to me, Liara would not be on the ship. She'd be more useful somewhere else. I have Javik and Kaidan if I need any biotic abilities. I tend to just blow the **** out of stuff with guns though.

Ahem. Can we focus on Miranda's own merits rather than relative to other characters?

Everyone helps the Alliance with resources. That was the point of the game. Liara was of no use to me as a Vanguard.

Miranda doesn't do much of anything on screen, neither does Liara, but in physical terms, Miranda is just as active as she is.

All Liara does is sit in the ship with me though.

It's all about who is utilized where. Depening on how you're playing, Liara may be nothing more than the Asari who is brokering information in Miranda's old office.

In my headcanon, all of Liara's screens are linked to camera's in Shepard's cabin and shower.

Doesn't change the fact that Liara decided to stay with Shepard and help against the war, and she's also responsible for finding the only weapon that could put an end to the Reapers. Miranda's only concern was her sister and she couldn't care less about the Reapers taking over as long as Ori was missing. Oriana is the only family she has, I get that, but choosing to go try to save her sister instead of contributing to the war efforts is the selfish choice, it's the same as putting one person above everyone else.

That is true.

And it's something we have to take into account, as Miranda is a bit...aloof in ME3.

She does state she doesn't want Shepard to get involved too closely because she wants him to focus on the war.

She also doesn't want him to worry about her.

But she's bad at holding things sometimes, as a Romanced Mirand awill ask Shepard if he worried about her.

She's also on the run from Cerberus Assassins.
