It's not that Miranda is aloof. It's that she does nothing until stumbling on Sanctuary by accident. That's why the email and non-romanced slides are so beloved--she's active.

I think this bears repeating. Miranda in ME2 loved her sister, but she was also a competent operative and tactician and she brought Shepard back to life. In ME3, her only contribution to the bigger picture comes about by accident.

She accidentally put the tracker on Kai Leng?

When Shepard asks Miranda what brought her to the Citadel... Miranda mentions she needs to talk to a few people like "you"... could we guess that it meant other Cerberus operatives and more importantly, possibly Alliance people as well? I think it was mentioned somewhere she had friends or friends of friends in the Alliance. We do know that she doesn't really like the Alliance but works with them anyways... "they can't be choosey at this point..."

I digress, here is the text.

"I managed to catch up with a few old contacts. They didn't want to talk; but they did. More later."

And look at this. She sends you one after the scene in the apartment if romanced.

"Good Luck."

Can you tell me how to get this?

Are you on an iPhone or Android Phone?

You need to dowload the the Mass Effect Data App. It's Free. Then you need to play through the game accordingly, and people will send you tidbits pertaining to stuff you've done. I have one here from Traynor thanking me for the game of chess.

It shouldn't be much of an issue, unless it's localized and it isn't available in Germany. I can't see why it wouldn't be.

Leviathan DLC and/or 2minute reel showing all the stuff they are working on for future ME3 DLC is my guess :wizard:

Paragon Lost, that's the one about Vega right?  That would make Biowares showing pretty lackluster if that's all they reveal <_<

I think they were tinkering with it at the last minute, with the original idea being that she doesn't know what Sanctuary is (or at least not how important it is) until she gets there, and later they added that little bit at the end of the third scene that suggests she is expecting to meet up with Leng.

No. She accidentally finds herself in a situation where she can do that while on a mission to save her sister. That makes her contribution to the big picture an adjunct of her personal affairs.

Was it that accidental though? Didn't she suspect that her father was working for the illusive man? If she's tracking down someone working for the illusive man, and let's be honest, Henry Lawson wasn't going to be middle management, then it's not really "accidental" that she was helpful.

Yes, the Pargon Lost move is about Vega. It follows that mission he was on against the Collectors.

It's anime. I've never really watched any Anime but from what I've seen it has a serious case of body morphing going on.

People were not happy with the way it looked.

But that's common.

I don't think it was intended to come across that way, but I think it generally does. When you see people mention Miranda's involvement in the game, they generally say "Orianna again" (not just her hardcore fans).

It was accidental, She didn't knew what Sanctuary was until she was there. Before arriving, all she knew was that her Sister was there, nothing more.

And about the anime from Vega, I was totally disappointed with the animation. There's a lot of series with better characters designs.

I really do hope you're right... otherwise it just shows what they're more interested in doing. I saw the Paragon Lost clip. I'm not too thrilled about to be honest.  Looks like a cartoon. <_<  I did enjoy the dragon age movie, however.  Cassandra might just be my new favorite.   There they go again. Strong female type roles.

It was a half ass way to further the plot and finish her story arc. That's why it's that way.

flemm and I discussed this the other day. They simply used one character trait to further the plot.

Which is terrible.

^This. She had no idea what was going on there. At least once Miranda figured out what was happening there she made herself useful.

Some of the stuff is romance specific.

Including her wishing Shepard Good Luck.

The OP in that thread states that they're missing some things.

If you click this link and then filter for Miranda, does that work on your end?

It's funny because it only showed up on my phone when I played through the game again, a second time.

This message is set over four months after I beat the game the first time.

It only fits in context wise, between, the meeting in the Spectre Office and After Sanctuary.

That places the message sometime between then, which is in the apartment.

How nice. She really did say something.

Also, it looks like we're going to have something about Leviathan. Someone linked an article from Kotaku pertaining to it.

Should be interesting.

Leviathan still sounds ****ing retarded, but if it means getting some kind of new SP DLC, I'll get it.

That's where I think I've gone too at this point. All I want is more SP DLC. I don't even care if it's more Shepard/Liara porn. Just something, ANYTHING else.

Oh boy fashion.

There's this really nice fan art piece with her in a....black top...with an Omni Tool.

She needs to wear something around the apartment/house/residence. I can see her in sweats. Demanding that Shepard get out of bed.

I had to post it

Suicide mission is still my favorite theme.
