Looks neither bad or extraordinary interesting, really...

Just looked at the reactions. I am amazed how easily people are impressed...

It looks interesting but, if it doesn't change anything, then what's the point?

Just saw that the Wii U people will get comics on ME1 and 2.

Looks like they won't get as screwed as i thought

I wonder how is Miranda going to look on the comic

Can't really summon any enthusiasm at the moment. Maybe that's the fact that they seem wedded to auto-dialogue or maybe while the screenshots look ok i'm not very excited by the concept. Maybe more details will make it seem better and maybe if auto-dialogue is reigned in slightly i might consider it. Odd before release i was sure i was going to buy all story dlcs.

You discover the Leviathan is powerful enough to destroy Reapers...you just have to lure them all under that planet's ocean.

Have you seen how Wrex looks on the Genesis comic?

Seeing how intent Bioware seems to be at mangling Miranda in every conceivable way, she'll probably look like that.

Probably like in Redemption.

Wonder if she'll be a LI choice.

Agreed.
The screenshot and scenery look outstanding, but alone this won't make me excited to meet hipster-reaper Leviathan in person, taking the last mystery out of the Reapers.

I still hate the concept and I don't get why everyone is suddenly all over it and screams "TAKE MY MONEY!!!"

Miranda is not considered a real romance, so I doubt it.

Hmm. ME hasn't really done anything with water yet. Could be interesting.

Leviathan itself though does sound retarded. By the way, anyone remember the Thorian? Now that's what they should do more on.

Thorian=organic Reaper, pretty much. How have they not clued into that?

Well, they need to try to fix the concept of the Reapers, so I think it makes sense as a follow up to the Extended Cut. Which isn't to say I'm positively thrilled or anything, but I think it does make sense.

I still haven't figured out were Miranda's suit generates her barrier.

Her back?

Hell if I know.

The way I see it, her outfit must have all the tiny emitters for shields built into a layer inside. Then she'd have some kind of central power unit somewhere. Maybe the small of the back?

I don’t recall if it was actually you or someone else, but I think it was in the Fanfic Writers’ thread that I proposed that the shield generator is a small box, if you will, but it uses a grid built into armor—or in Miranda’s case, her outfit—which creates or binds the shape of the generated field.

Yep! That's where I took it from. :)

(Thanks again)

I'm really not sure playing about with the reapers is going to lead anywhere good. Only definition of fixing i can see happening is what vets do to dogs.

Lol, Wrexs look was hilarious in Genesis

I hope she'll look better than in Redemption, but seeing the Homeworlds comic, i'm not sure i'd actually like to see her.

She'll probably be a romance option. Well.....she better be

Hehee, the hissy fit over IMDB ‘data’ (by a professional?!) was gold.

As I’ve said elsewhere, it’s looking an awful lot like the Leviathan story is just going further in the wrong direction in an attempt to retcon a justification for the Reapers. But meh.

I'm very much looking forward to Leviathan.

As for Genesis 2.0, we can always **** about the art and hilariously inaccurate descriptions.

Well, I'm not sure either, but... I think they have to try. It's too important to the IP as a whole, really, I think, for it to be left as is.

The Reapers could have stayed more enigmatic, and it might have worked, but now they're at this weird sort of midway point where it's clear they are comprehensible, but we don't have enough information, so they tend to just come across as absurd.

They can't go back to more enigmatic, so they probably have to go forward toward better, more fleshed out demystification.

I am just saying this because she is not worked out properly and is largely excluded from everything that the "real" romances get:
- deep conversations that go beyond "Take care. Promise me"
- a romance scene: Yes, I think actual romantic interaction might be helpful to show believeable love
- "a better goodbye for your LIs" as stated before the EC: We are still left alone with that rather cold goodbye on the holo-panel

I got the impression BioWare considers Miranda (and Jack) to be flings that stand between the intended ME1 love. No real romances.

No ****.
It's really gonna ****in' matter at the end of the game. A 2 second glimpse of a white reaper (stupid enough anyway),
then RGB and it's dead. Besides, I don't want a reaper on my side. The whole idea is just bad. That's like having the flood on your side in halo.
