As for Leviathan, Bioware has confirmed that playing through the DLC will change the ending.

Is that so? I didn't realize that.

As for the dialogue, funny stuff as always, Doc Posted Image

Certainly something should ideally be done about the starbrat.

I really like the scene with Loki and the Black Widow  he thinks he's messing with her head by calling her a damsel in distress, then she says "Thanks for telling us you're planning on having the Hulk tear up the Helicarrier" and walks away. The look on his face after that scene is is priceless.

I really liked that...but she doesn't manage to do anything with that information beyond joining in with the bickering.

I doubt that Leviathan will change the endings vastly or even offer a completely new ending. That goes against their "artistic vision" as much as it is unfair to pay for a new ending.

My guess is that it will just add dialogue with StarChild...

I think that's all I'd heard. Probably just adds a little comment that the starchild will then dismiss. :P

Well, from the beginning (I mean from the moment this process started with the EC), it's been about changing the ending while saying, "We are not changing the ending." It has already been changed (clarified *cough, cough*). So, it wouldn't surprise me if they continue to adjust it. Because it really was an IP-ruining piece of nonsense.

I'm still waiting for Mass Effect 4: Shepard and Miranda's Adventures, from the far rim to post-coitus in the bedroom.

It's worth remember that Shepard has never treated the Reapers as unknowable Gods, just a bunch of incredibly evil machines who are trying to kill everybody... for reasons that they keep avoiding explaining. Why wouldn't Bioware add explanations for their motives, when Shepard is trying to find out their motives in order to find a way to defeat them?

And that image above of Miranda staring at the sky is clearly missing the Normandy approaching from the distance, Shepard in tow...

Can you see Miri as a "Movie" Person, meaning someone who loves to see a good Movie from time to time?

Art films sure. Everyone loves those. =]

Ieldra still hasn't seen this to the best of my knowledge.

Long, glacially paced and quite possibly one of the best things I've ever seen.

But none will match the glacially paced O Megalexandros. That's great too.

At least Mike Gamble comes out and tells the truth, unlike a certain individual who says things then pulls the "artistic vision" card when people call him out on it.

As for Miranda and movies I could picture her liking sci-fi as sort of a guilty pleasure. Considering that Cerberus invents things like giant robots, jet boots, and an AI that has the voice of Number Six from Battlestar Galactica it would make sense that the operatives have a soft spot of old-school sci-fi.

Shep and Miri Make a Porno will have a niche market I'm afraid.

Then all you have is the giant machine cuttlefish. Nevermind the fact that just one of them can wipe out an entie fleet on its own, or the fact that there are thousands of them. Without that mystery they'll wither up and die, or no worse, discover that they are the puppet of some space child. All of their billions of years of growth and technology are now suddenly useless.

No, space child is their creation, not vice versa. I don't trust anything the little bastard says so him and his pals can all get blown to hell.

I like the idea of the reapers forwarding some hidden motive, but alas, I'd prefer if that motive was never revealed. It doesn't need to be. Or if it is, Shepard kills himself out of insanity. You cannot hope to comprehend their motives. That was genuinely terrifying when I first saw it.

From the very beginning, I wasn't overly intimidated at all by the Reapers. I knew we were going to "kick their ***es back into that black hole they crawled out of" in the end. It was just a matter of how ugly things would get in the meantime.

In reality I wasn't, but in game it is pretty depressing to learn a race of giant machine cuttlefish exist beyond the grasp of our knowledge and have only evil, destructive intentions for us.

I've said it before we (or at least I, but I'm sure I'm not alone) went into this thing thinking we were fighting the likes of Galactus.

Turns out we were just fighting some meager Sentinels.

Lame.

It was a mistake making ME about some larger "grand problem" and it was a mistake attributing this to Reapers as their higher purpose (or indeed precisely defining any higher purpose at all). Because it actually shifted importance from the Reapers, made them just tools. And in the end it all fell flat anyway as the "problem" and "solution" are pure crap.

I don't plan on watching Dexter. I'm sure I'll hear all about her...escapades here.

I prefer to keep people separate from characters.

I just hope it isn't a ****ing disaster for her.

You know before she did Chuck, she was actually a bit of a tomboy. I'd say she still has that trait, but as I'm sure you'd affirm, Hollywood doesn't like tomboys. She mentions in a 'Seven things you didn't know about...' interview that she didn't learn to walk in heels before she came to the States.

You can be a tomboy in hollywood (michelle rodriguez) if you're still pretty.

But you have to die, while the skinny "pretty" girl lives.

Cracked wrote an article about this.  It was hilarious because it's totally true.  It's worse than dead bro walking.

We were fighting Galactus, just Rise of the Silver Surfer Galactus (consuming swarm with an overmind).

...which is actually lamer...

Hollywood doesn't like anything that's different.

She had to change to fit in, which probably makes her more uncomfortable than she lets on.

If she's as smart as people say she is, she's doing more than just acting behind the camera.

That explains....so much.

She's very active with the LA Humane Society. And she does a lot of volunteer work for children with terminal diseases. I don't know if she has any other occupations on the side though. She used to be a waitress back in Australia while she looked for acting jobs.

When she first moved here back in 2007, she had a lot trouble adjusting, because back in Aus, she was an only child from a close-knit family (I can relate) and she had difficulty with lonliness being away from her friends and family in a foreign culture (She mentioned that minus a few trips to New Zealand and Poland, she had never been outside of Australia before) in arguably one of the worst places to go (the people of Southern California is a brutal to strangers) in an industry where you either sink or swim.

Los Angeles is a sink or swim city, you either adapt or you get swallowed. What I meant by acting was doing things she wasn't used to. It's become more than evident to me why she's popular and it also explains why she wants to try new things, even Dexter, to break out of that mold.

I refer back to the lyric from Hotel California.

"You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave."
