We complimented it the first time.
You didn't, Ieldra 2 didn't, Vertigo didn't, etc. It's like I'm at the mercy of Superiors who judge things all the time.

Well, I like your drawing. But if someone doesn't comment or even if someone doesn't like your drawing, it doesn't mean they are judging your work in any type of bad way.
Tastes differ. Sometimes people just don't want to comment. You have to accept that, and try not to let it upset you.

Reaction to Miranda's role in ME3...
Additionally, my reaction to finding out the ME1 characters get a bedroom comfort scene and "I love you's" after your nightmare but not ME2 characters.

Not strictly Miranda related, but does anyone get the sense that the writers are confused about Ori's age? She's 19-20, but consistently treated as if she's a minor.
Perhaps it changed or something? She's "almost" a woman in ME2, and she's nineteen.
Perhaps it's twenty one? I know some cultures don't consider people to be adults until at least then (Maybe it was Japan? I can't remember.)
I think it's one of those inconistencies that will never be explained.

I think that's more of Miranda not having her head on straight in ME3 than anything else.

She doesn't seem to have it on straight in her Loyalty Mission either then. She's nineteen but she's "almost" a woman.

And in the dossier Ori reads 15-16. And if Miranda is dead in ME3, it seems Henry is taking custody of her.

She's nineteen in ME2.
What the hell?

Apparently autism is also curable in that novel.
I think those are just two of the issues I heard brought up about that book.

Yeah, I hear he pisses in vases as well.
I'm not sure how that is at all amusing.
Of course there is always the "Serial Killer, Cereal Killer" thing to consider.
That isn't funny either.
Or witty.

I think its more of the fact that Ori is not trained what so ever in combat, weapons, and may not even be a Biotic like Miranda. And her opponents are Banshees, Phantoms, Merc Groups, her Father, ete. Better to surrender than even attempt to fight.
So, in a sense, Ori IS nothing more than a child on the battlefield. Now, Had Miranda had time to maybe train Ori or something...
That actually could have been something interesting to see on the Normandy. Post Sanctuary, Miranda and Ori have Ambient Dialogue of her FINALLY having time to teach Ori proper defence.

From what I've read, the pissing in the vase thing is like....
"urinating in a vase that he had selected for that purpose."
The main character apparently also "out grows" her autism. THINGS DON'T WORK THAT WAY.
Also, characters have "Sudden Sexuality" and are straight even though they were previously gay and no mention of such homosexuality is ever discussed. I mean, if they were bi or pan or something, it could make sense, but gay? Nope. SEXUALITY DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY!

She has some catching up to do more than anything. But past that, I don't see Miranda wanting to interfere. That IS why she took her in the first place. But know that she's grown, Oriana can do as she wishes.
In Control, it's quite evident she's helping her sister. And I'm sure she'll stay close to Shepard and Miranda in Destroy. The same for Synthesis, sans Shepard.
Or she can go into colony development, like she was planning to do before the war.

Oriana is not Miranda. That's just the thing. Oriana grew up in a completely separate environment. She'll never "be" like her sister.

My point was that Ori has no way of fighting against anything. Sadly, she more or less IS a child which is why others probably treat her as such in dialogue.
Even then, as much as Miranda probably wouldn't like interfering with Ori's life even more, ORI NEEDS TO BE ABLE TO DEFNED HERSELF DAMN IT.
Plus, I think Ori wouldn't care and wants to be with Miranda because...What is the liklyhood that Henry left Ori's foster family alive? Ori may have witnessed their deaths.
Ugh. That just gives a whole new level to how shaken up she is at Sanctuary....

Thanks for that. All I needed was that image in my head.
I guess now what we'll have some sort of family now.
Miranda, Shepard and Oriana.
Not a bad thing. All three of them technically stem from broken families in my game so I guess this MIGHT turn out to be a good thing.
Broken, Disjointed, but closer than ever before.
I can feel the art now.

Yeah, Colonist-Sole Survivor Shepard has lost two familes so far, Miranda never really had one, and Ori needs one.
Yay! Family!

My Shepard is an Earthborn, Sole Survivor.
No real family, ever. Everyone has either died or left.
It just gets more BROODING by the hour.
Huh.

Anyways, Lets get to a happier convo?
Ummmm.....I finially finished a playthrough of ME1, so I need to only do one more so I can import to ME3 (I did everything and killed everything and some how only got to Level 56. : /)
I tried Hardcore because, Hey, I'm level 56 and I have the best Armor in the game. Might as well try...
I was hiding behind a rock on Eden Prime....Full Shields, Full Health, not standing in the way of any rocket drones.....One hit kill from THE OTHER SIDE of my cover. *facepalm*

Interesting idea, but letting me go all the way to level five wasn't much of a motivator for slogging through the game more than once. I did do it though.
That Shepard never reached ME3 though. He's still sitting in my Xbox somewhere.
I'm buying a new one though, just because more people here play on the 360. Might as well go where more people are.

Spacer/Ruthless Mirandamancer, here. We complete the triforce of Miri!
Me, I still can't decide for myself how my headcanon is going to go for Miranda meeting Shepard's mom. Casual?Heartwarming? Awkward? Probably all of the above.
Edit: Ooo, and I never thought of how Oriana fits into the whole deal. Three women for family. Man, my Shep's just plain outnumbered. He and Miranda need to have a son first. And don't you dare throw the 'Miranda is infirtile' arguement at me. There WILL be Shepard/Miranda babies, dammit!
