I don't think Jack and Miranda fans ever had problems with each other, not that I can think of. I don't like Jack, but I think her fanbase is probably the most normal of the whole BSN. Miranda fanbase could win, but you know, Luis kinda makes that impossible.

I always found that to be ironic, lmao.

I'd love to put forth the Ash fans, but half our thread is people hitting on each otherPosted Image

Let's all agree we're better than the talimancers.  And their dolls...

Top Miri looks good in any medium!

^ You got that right. Was that before or after ME2's Production and Release? Before, or after BioWare had chosen Yvonne to be the Face and Voice of Miri?

Yes, Ashmancers are great all right. I wrote here her nose is ugly, which it really is, and I got Ash lurkers here sending me gif of her shooting me.

And Talimancers actually created a formula for her sweat and the sad part is, I'm not joking about that.

You kidding, right? Guess you're not Miranda's most obssessive fan if you don't know where that picture is from.

HER NOSE ISN'T UGLY!!!!!Posted ImagePosted Image

Yeah, the talimancers... hey, at least they're dedicated, right?  And they got Tali squadmember status!

Only one solution!  Somebody needs to make a Miranda doll.  I nominate Taboo...

I heard about the sweat but the doll is where I took a step back and went...."What?"

It...makes me wonder.

Did anything ever become of it?

It's stylistic from a comic.  Miri was actualy designed after Yvonne's looks (good choice FYI).

Actually, I'm pretty sure that's from Mass Effect Galaxy.

I could send you updates on Twitter!

But seriously that would truly be a BAD thing. Liking Miranda is more of a gag over in the story forums than anything else.

But seriously Ieldra, I want to see that picture of the Tali doll, if only to prove to me that it IS, in fact, REAL.

I thought it was concept for Mass Effect Galaxy, because the only time Miri ever looked like that was in Mass Effect: Galaxy. So when creating Miri, they chose Yvonne from the Start? Wow. That's was one of the GREATEST Things that BioWare has ever done.

First , ONLY, and BEST Choice<3.

Yvonne will not only be Remember for being Sarah, but also for being the Face and Voice of Miri. I have seen people online see Pictures and Footage of Yvonne and IMMEDIATELY recognize Miri. I didn't discover her like that. I found out her name in the ME2 Game Booklet (That came with the Game), and then I saw Pictures and Videos and immediately found out that she was the Face and Voice of Miri, or did I figure it out the other way around? I don't remember the real order. I think I saw her face first before finding out her name. Idk.

It's too early to know if she'll be remembered at all Luis.

People come and go. **** happens.

We'll remember her Taboo! That's what matters! WE'LL REMEMBER!

Honestly, I'd just be happy if she can have a successful career and get work for years. She was good in something I enjoyed, I root for her (and KB, and Meer, and courteny taylor, and etc).

Same reason I love Idris Elba movies...

"Academy Award/Oscar for Best Actress" is what I want to see in Yvonne's Future.

Fat chance.

The Academy has turned into one of the most ridiculous excuses for awards in that last fifty years.

Winning an Oscar would be a bad thing for her.

Yeah, that's why I just root for actors/actresses I like to get work consistantly. Acting is a tough gig, so I want her to be able to do it and be able to enjoy her life. Oscar's are overrated anyways.

Winning an Academy Award opens up roles that do not exist. That's the joke.

It puts you on top with nowhere to go. You're too high profile for most things now and you run out of top roles.

Worse yet, if you have a bomb after winning an award, **** get's real ugly, real fast.

There are a few exceptions of course, but Miss Strahovski will never be Meryl Streep or Helen Mirren.

The best she can hope for is consistent mid level work. That's all that matters. Work.

That's the way it works. It isn't always a glamorous place.

I'm more than certain that she'll be overshadowed by someone else eventually. That's why I feel it's best to not get attached to people in this regard.

Consistent work is the goal.

No...well, yes, but that is not what the Emoticon is for, so there is no need to tease. I'm sad because of the facts regard the Academy Awards.

Which begs the question: Why the **** do the writers not want her in the game?

Because she's guilty of Grand Larson-y.

The Academy Awards don't mean much. They're a joke.

She needs to make it big or she'll fade away.

This is always better than burning out of course, as Neil Young was sang.

If she keeps working the way she does she'll be okay, as there will always be roles for her. And she'll probably be just fine with that.

She really needs to keep working and accepting roles as challenging as possible, otherwise her career will be the same of many pretty actresses out there: second grade horror movies.

Yes.

Being type cast is a terrible thing to have hanging over your career.

From what come to undertand she's played...the half dressed woman and "strong woman" for several years now.

The former is a great way to get typecast, the latter is not common in Hollywood. She needs to break out now before that's all she's known for.
