I got hilarious results in ME2 when using Reave with a Vanguard. But yes, using Grunt to give the squad ammo is useful and he lasts a lot longer than...Jacob.

I'm not sure what to do use as a bonus power for a Sentinel though. Warp Ammo?

I only ever play as a sentinel (throw on husks is super effective). I almost always choose armor-piercing. As a sniper (raptor) and pistol heavy player, armor piercing certainly makes up for when you miss. Especially with those cerberus with the blast shields.

Though I'm also a casual player (more in for the story than combat). How well my tactics transfer to higher difficulties, I'll never know.

Edit for Top:
Posting it one more time just in case anyone else wanted to see it and missed it the first time.

Yeah, as a sentinel I used warp ammo, that class already has enough powers and since of all the ammos as bonus powers I find warp ammo to be the most complete of them I pick that, though it causes less damage than the others.

slam, of course.

Edit: Slam is only useful for unprotected targets and having throw already I find that power unecessary. Having slam just because it's Miranda's bonus power is useless.

Thanks.

I've only ever played as a Vanguard so this is entirely new. I guess I'll let it be the alternate version of canon Shepard. He'll be the one I play Leviathan with anyway.

Sentinel certainly seems to be more popular in here.

It works well with Miranda yes? It was a bit more difficult to cause combos in the second game as a Vanguard with her until she gained the ability to use Slam.

Biotic explosions are simply easier to do in ME3.

And Miss Rose, NO ONE missed that picture.

They changed ME3 so that are the harder levels, instead of everyone just having sheilds/armor, they just have more health, so that you can still use powers. Biotic is literally the most useless thing in the world in ME2 on hardcore/veteran...

Yeah, BE are a lot easier on ME3. I like sentinel, though vanguard and infiltrator are still my favorites.

Some Miri pics, don't know if they've been posted yet:

On ME2 harder difficulties classes with tech are the most useful, engineer just doesn't have power to bring down barrier, same with infiltrator that has shield disruptor ammo and incinerator. I love that in ME3 now the vanguard charge is also effective against shields, same thing with stasis depending on the enemy and overload is now effective against barriers as well... Playing biotics on ME3 is a lot funner than on the previous game, especially the vanguard with charge+nova.

I wonder if that is in part because Miranda is one. I play it for other reasons to, but having two "Miranda's" on the field is super helpful in hard firefights.

And Miss Rose, NO ONE missed that picture.

Fair enough. Didn't want to leave anyone out if they were interested.

Oh no, I like the picture.

But yes, I would think that Sentinel is more popular because Miranda is one.

Although I would also advocate for more outrageous outfits for Shepard simply because I think he needs one. But not like the one krukow posted he other day. Sometimes it's just too much.

That high definition mod for Miranda is really nice, as are those pictures. I know nothing of computers though, at least in a gaming sense (or at least in the capacity I should) but I'd imagine you'd need something impressive to run textures in that high of a resolution.

They're what...4000(?) x (????)

Shepard: Miranda, this isn't really my idea of a Halloween Costume.

Miranda: Who ever said it was for Halloween?

Think she'd appreciate the cod piece Bowie wore in that film? Because that's all people ever seem to notice.

I usually play adept or vanguard. Hadn't really noticed a preference for sentinal among the Miranda fans, but I guess that could be.

I've seen David Bowie naked.

He isn't that big.

Slam is useful on a sentinel.  You can tear any defense apart,. Then use slam to set BEs. Sentinel Shepard with slam + Miranda + any other biotic  = biotic massacre.

That's why I decided to give Sentinel a shot on one of my playthroughs of ME2. I loved it and haven't looked back.

o Ventus convinced me to do it. I guess I hadn't really thought about it before. It was always Vanguard this and Vanguard that.

Should be interesting. Although the limitations won't hurt me as much in the beginning, as Vanguards run into trouble on Insanity if they Charge when they aren't ready at low levels.

Seeing as the Sentinel is Heavy Pistol and SMG restricted until the Weapons Training on the Collector Ship, I should be okay.

But it's technically a support class yes? It'll be nice to mix things up for once.

Shepard: Miranda, was is with you're fascination for David Bowie? He is looooong gone.

Miranda: I can ask the same thing about your "fascination" for that actress who played a CIA Agent in that damn 21st Century Spy Show.

Dawg, if there's one thing I can tell you about the film world, it's that you get used to it real fast. If you're comfortable in your sexuality, you should have no issue seeing another man naked.

I could have gone without seeing Rip Torn naked though.

There was this one film...with Matt Smith.

As long as we don't read something about Miranda's sweat or a real size Miranda doll, we are ok
