The mission would have to be very important, not just her wanting to escape. And she'd beat herself up for being sloppy enough to get into that situation.
^This. Though I can't imagine any scenario she'd put herself in that situation. Cerberus wouldn't care if she had a hostage, so unless she was trying to dodge the Alliance a hostage wouldn't do much difference.

Chapter 10 of my story is where it might've occured. In this case, an Alliance agent would've been the hostage.lillitheris wrote...
Hard time thinking what such a situation would be.
It really would depend on the situation, and probably only in extreme circumstances, but I wouldn't say she'd rule it out. Interesting to hear other people's thoughts, obviously.

Yes. She'd hate to involve innocent bystanders as a rule, but she's capable of it. It also depends on the alternative. As opposed to jtav, I think if it's the only way to avoid capture she'd do it, while failing a mission objective might be a price she's willing to pay depending on the importance of the mission.hot_heart wrote...
Since this thread is a little quiet (chinchillas?!) I will ask an 'odd' question too. Not that I'm considering writing anything like this in my story (though, I almost did at one point).
Do you think Miranda, if cornered, would ever take a hostage?

What do you think Miranda would think about a Chinchilla?
I never thought someone would ask a question like this.
I thought I was weird.

Now that's a refined rodent.
But why a chinchilla?
Why not try something more...exotic?
They're hardly what I'd call refined. lol
And, for being a goddamn Space Marine and ete and having one out in the middle of Space, I'd find that rather exotic.
I'm asking because Animals can sometimes be Theraputic in a way and Shepard doesn't really have any animals that he can actually hold and take care of (The Space Hamster sits in the walls of the Normandy. It knows everything. IT SEES EVERYONE!) and I thought, Why not?

I always have Miranda with me as her LM is the first mission on Illium I do, but I do Gianna's little mission before that (I hate keeping people waiting) so Miranda's not romanced yet.krukow wrote...
Meh, off topic. I just don't think most musicians have a realistic view of the world and thus nothing of substance to add.
Hey, on-topic. Has anyone ever taken a romanced Miranda with them to Illium and helped Parisini out? Do you still get that kiss? Does Miri try to biotically crush poor Ms. Parisini?

Technically 20. You can have three interviews with her and how you answer can add 5 war assets during each interview.Taboo-XX wrote...
She's worth five.
I spent hours playing multiplayer because I though that my promotions would mean something.
As it turns out, my N7 forces are more powerful than my Rachni forces.
You only need 3100 to get the breath scene.
I can manage that with dead Geth.
Interview #1 (post-Tuchanka): Renegade dialogue option gets you 5 points for the Turian 7th Fleet, Paragon gets you 5 points for Krogan Clans.
Interview #2 (post-Citadel Coup attempt): Paragon gets you 5 points for the Alliance 103rd Division (who took heavy losses if you didn't do Arrival like I don't), Renegade gets you 5 points for Alliance 5th Fleet.
Interview #3 (post-Rannoch): Paragon gets you 5 points for Geth Corps or the Quarian Heavy Fleet if the Geth are dead. Renegade as far as I know gets you nothing.

She moved on to Future Content Corporation news service in time for ME2. She was no longer just on the Citadel. Of course, I maintain that since she didn't die on-screen but rather over ******* Twitter, she's not actually dead (I realize it's just wishful thinking, but still).Skullheart wrote...

I AM talking about In-Game. I'm meant "You" as Your Shepard.

I can see Miri saying that. "I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you."

Shepard never found it in my canon. It lives inside the Normandy and watches everyone. Even when you think you're alone; always remember that the Space Hamster is watching.
That and I've never been able to find hamsters that interesting of pets. All the hamsters I've encountered have been highly noctournal and absolutely hate being picked up. Not the most Theraputic of creatures, no?
Chinchillas, however, are extremely playful, love to be held (But, not like, hugged or anything but they will crawl all over you and sit on your shoulder and ete.), and also are rather adorable.
I mean, have you seen them take a dust bath? It's so cute!
So, now that the galaxy is moving into the aftermath stage, Shepard is dealing with his issues and PTSD. So, I thought a Theraputic Pet could be useful here...
Shepard and Miranda are watching his Chinchilla take a dust bath, which is sending dust everywhere and all over the both of them.
Miranda: Shepard *cough* Its getting dust everywhere!
Shepard: ...And?
Miranda: Its making a complete mess!
Shepard: *blink blink blink* *confused stare* ...And your point is...?
Anyways, moving on to MEFan's question.....Never seen the movie so no comment. lol

Are you familiar with Mood repair strategies?
Miranda herself can help Shepard with some of those.
