Or you could just spend the whole time just exploring and never doing it.
Exactly. Exploring can be just as pleasurable.
Anyways, back to Miranda! I could see her involvement in the Omega DLC...! Even if she thinks it's a pisshole.
Miranda in the Omega, for me, makes every sense in the world. Dtrain and I have come up with some situations that wouldn't be a stretch. Basically, we came up with this, originally posted on the #FindMiranda group:
"Basically we were hoping for a confrontation with Petrovsky, where Miranda would try to convince him to join her. Like dtrain mentioned above, this would be a great opportunity for BW to adress the Cerberus issue regarding Miranda; Oleg could ask her something like "I thought you believed in Cerberus" and Miranda could reply "I still believe in what Cerberus used to stand for, but TIM has gone too far, his methods are brutal and he only cares about power now. He's even experimenting on humans".
Wheather or not Oleg would choose to help her would depend on previous choices on the DLC, for example, let's suppose there's a situation where some Cerberus agents who haven't been upgraded with Reaper tech are surrounded by reapers, Miranda, Aria and Shepard can choose to either help them or let them die. The former option would cause a confrontation with Aria, but helping them will look good for Oleg and it would give Miranda a few Cerberus defects.
Shepard would be the main player when it comes to gameplay, but in some scenes, like the confrontation with Petrovsky it would be nice if Miranda could lead the dialogues, Shepard's purpose at that moment could be to use the paragon or renegade interrupts. If Miranda is almost convincing Oleg then Shepard can use a paragon interrupt to complete the job or if she isn't sucessful or if shepard is just a plain renegade and wants to end
Oleg then he'll get a renegade interrupt.
Dtrain gave the idea that the sucess of the mission would depend on Miranda's relationship with Shepard."
Also, Dtrain posted this:
"Shepard must help Aria re-take Omega from Cerberus. Miranda gets involved because she wants to help take down the organization.
Miranda could be a squadmate and Aria would be the npc that hacks security and talks over the radio (I don't see Bioware making her a squaddie). Based on decisions, Shepard and Miranda will either have a confrontation with
Aria, or Oleg Petrovsky. If you let the Cerberus troopers that weren't upgraded with Reaper tech die, you have a confrontation with an angry Oleg. But if you save them, Aria will get pissed at you.
Based on Miranda's loyalty and how high Shepard's reputation is, you can calm them down. If not, you may need to put them down.
This is also a perfect time to develop Miranda's character. She could have lines similar to 'I used to believe in Cerberus, before it turned into this. The Illusive Man's new ideas and morals are now insane, etc'"
