After watching Miranda's death scene on YouTube, I honestly have to say that it is much more emotionally satisfying (and heartbreaking) than her virtual goodbye to Shepard on Earth. It sucks that Shepard and Miranda never had any emotional moments like with Liara or Tali... Anyone else feel this way? :/

While I sort of understand what you're saying...
YOU ARE A BAD PERSON AND I DON'T LIKE YOU.

I love it Miss Rose. Your lighting is fabulous.

I can't tell because of the size and color but it looks like she's holding his arm. Is that correct?

The breakup scene and her death scene are good only from a meta-gaming perspective. It gives you great insight into her feelings about Shepard.

The Goodbye is the closest the Miranda people get to that level of content.

Although the art part of my brain goes nuts in that apartment. THE ART.

The death scene with a romanced Miranda is really well acted and animated. The death scene without a romanced Shepard makes me laugh because Miranda will always stroke Shepard's cheek irregadless of romance or loyalty status.

I also really like the breakup scene, the voice acting and facial animation is great. I feel like the worst person in the galaxy after picking that option but it's just a really well done conversation.

Thank you, and nope. :P
My mini version is working exactly as planned!

Unless you can guess what it is before I post the full version I'm just gonna tell you look a little harder near her lower hand to guess what she is holding. It's not really a secret, I'm just bored.

Mwhahaha. ;)

LIARA SEX SCENE > THE ART

Dawg he takes Liara from behind in that scene. That's not art, that's softcore porn.

I honestly don't know what I would say if I saw a similar one with Miranda.

The arty, fade to black is much better.

Yeah, I was joking. The Liara sex scene is the BEST arguement against ME3 as art that I can think of.

Better than Diana Allers. Yeah, I said it.

Ashley's scene is better than Liara's. It's not too much and not just a fade to black. I think her's was the best in the game.

Ashley has the best romance scene in the game. It's perfect from the show something, but retain integrity angle.

Because Ashley has a character, and Liara is masturbatory fanservice. But that's OT, so,ummmmm....

MIRI'S COOL!

I could never bring myself to break up with Miranda or let her die. I guess I can only head-canon Shepard surviving the destroy ending and going to find her. Although Shepard surviving that explosion is highly unlikely.

I agree, Taboo. I just wish we could have that insight into her feelings about Shepard WITHOUT letting her die.

There's a lot of debate where I come from on whether or not pornography is art or not. Europeans have explicit images in their films (LOL ANTICHRIST) and they aren't porn.

As I've argued before though, the scene is the apartment isn't just about sex. It's about a lot more than that.

I think the demarcation point is when the sex scene becomes about the sex. If it's just about showing the sex, it's porn. If there's a greater meaning to it, it's not. I realize this becomes a bit subjective, but I think it's the best answer.
Ash scene: not porn
Liara scene: Porn and Jenna Jameson is blushing watching it.

Allers' talk table has a ton more lines in it  that don't have voice clips attached to them like getting tossed out of engineering because the Tantalus Drive Core is top-secret. The big problem with her is that Chobot can't act and other than the +5 EMS points you get she just sits in the hold and isn't heard from ever again. She's the Normandy's version of Scruffy the Janitor.

Yes. Just because you CAN show something doesn't mean you should. It's exploitive to do it in some circumstances, and that's where I raise my finger and say "LOL NO".

And believe me, I've seen my fair share of randy people in movies, with things flopping this way and that.

Liara's scene is for titilation, and it's excessive. That is why it fails, at least for me.

Also, how DARE you compare Scruffy to Allers Doctor. Scruffy is cool.

Have you actually even seen it (or this version with some dude)? ’Cause you sound about as full of s— as usual.

Y’all are just pathetic now.

Pathetic?

It's audibly laughable.

It reminds me of the opening to Antichrist. Shot at 100 FPS and everything.

All that's missing is a hardcore insert, and Antichrist had that.

It's excessive and you know it, far more so than any other LI. That's what I'm getting at.

I feel the shot of Liara's naked @ss was artistic and added to the narrative of the game.

 Lascia ch'io pianga
mia cruda sorte,
e che sospiri la libertà.
Il duolo infranga queste ritorte
de' miei martiri sol per pietà.

That's pretty much all that scene is missing.

And that link is safe, it's merely a link to said aria.

Do you have a response to this criticism or are you just going to be hostile? You've proven to be entirely incapable of doing so in this regard.

I made a mistake, and for that I apologize, but I stick with my statement.

I don't need a softcore porn scene for Miranda's romance, but this fade to black is terrible. At least in ME2 I can feel the passion between them during the romance scene. For me the romance is representative of Miranda's treatment in ME3 : not enough content. We don't have one single conversation about what they feel for each other, what they want for their future .. nothing.
And the abruptness of the end (fade to black then teleport outside the appartment), confirms that they really didn't want to make an effort for this character.

This is 10 times better :

The cut is bad, the emotion carried through the cut is not, at least in my opinion.

I'm of the opinion that you should either go fully into the zone or not at all.

Any middling in between is unnecessary.

Either be straight with what you have or don't show it at all.

I think the cut is fine. It could be better, but that scene makes it clear how they feel about each other. And that's what matters. TEH FEELZ!!

Unless you romance Liara, then it's TEH PORNZ!
