I don't care if it's because of a limited budget. If they didn't waste so much resources for other things, they could have worked on the ME2 characters and give them the treatment they deserve.

But BioWare couldn't care less about those fans, they had the EC to make up for that and those characters were once again ignored. So as angry as I am to say this, I don't think will ever have more content for Miranda, she's not Liara to get a DLC of her own.
Yeah I feel the same.

Shenanigans. In my opinion, Mordin, Legion, Grunt, Jack, Thane and even EDI were given superb appearances, even if Jack's was a little on the brief side. The only characters that I think truly got shafted for ME3 were Samara, Zaeed, Kasumi, and Jacob. Miranda is kind of hovering in between those two states; her appearance was competent, not exceptional.Babi_Siha wrote...
Agreed. I was never in favor of changing the story and adding her on Cronos, much the same way I find the idea of Thane living ridiculous even though he's my second favorite character. What I'd love is for more content for them and ME2 characters to be added.

No offense, but saying Miranda's appearance was competent means you don't know the character that well. She got more content of the ME2 I think, but she was completely out of character, if they gave her the same screen time but actually made something good with her, we wouldn't be complaining half as much.

I personally didn't see it as being "out of character" as much as it was recycling the subplot used in ME2. Since I haven't perused this thread in a while, could you explain what was out of character for her behavior?Babi_Siha wrote...

I don't see it so much as out-of-character as off-character. Yes, that's a term. I just made it up.

I know I'm 6 hours late but I think it's appropriate that Miranda had a sequence of events that could lead to her death. Every single character you have ever had on your squad can die at some point during the trilogy, whether it be pre-determined like the Virmire survivor, through bad decision-making in the Suicide Mission, or by losing the trust of the individual, like Miranda. Yeah, her subplot in Mass Effect 3 is a little lacking (though Sanctuary was cool), but the context surrounding her potential death scene is fine.MASSEFFECTfanforlife101 wrote...
Why can't BioWare cut us some slack? I still don't know why BioWare had to add a Death Scenario. It isn't right for someone like Miri. She is My LI, and the fact that a Death Scenario exists is COMPLETE Bull****.<_<
Thank God I can Save Miri. I don't want her to die. When I saw her Romance Death Scene on YouTube, I cried. I was torn inside. It was awful. I'm glad they didn't make her Death unavoidable. If they did, would have lost many fans, including Me.
Speaking of, started working on an "alternate" uniform. It's in very early on (haven't updated the specular or normal map yet), but I'm liking where it's going.
Damn console. Seriously though, this is surprisingly beautiful. Well done
By the way, aren't you the Jean Luc that made those awesome HD textures for ME2 ?

Yep give me some proper content that shows she's still the woman who spent half her life working for Cerberus and who cares what TIM has done to the organisation and the ideals she cared so passionately for. Omega DLC content would be the perfect chance to show her trying to recruit Petrovsky and working to build a faction to oppose him whilst still searching for her lost sister.

*Barely mentioning Cerberus as such, with no reflection on her time with the organizationJeanLuc761 wrote...

*Going to pieces if you break up with her to the point that she dies
*Not contributing to the war effort, except for something she does while accomplishing a personal goal. Email rectified this, but seems to have been added after complaints.
*No mention of her idealism and belief in human advancement.

She's in no way involved in the Cerberus plot, nor does she even acknowledges what's become of the organization, there's a war going on with the biggest threat the galaxy has ever seen and all Miranda cares about is Oriana. The most in-character moment of Miranda happened in an email that an Alliance officer sent to her about her going after Cerberus. Gone is the pragmatic, smart and complex woman.

That's me! I'll probably end up doing a Cerberus-Style variant of this new alternate outfit so I can throw it into Mass Effect 2. I SHALL BANISH THAT WHITE CATSUIT.kratos0294 wrote...

The lack of content doesn't make Miranda out of character.
You expected a full cake, and you received a small portion of it. But this portion is still part of the same cake.
No need to reject the other things that also make Miranda who she is.

That's what we should have gotten. But Mac Walters wrote the script, and Bioware rushed the game.
If they did not rush the game, we would have gotten a better campaign. Also, if they took their time, we probably wouldn't have had to download 3 MP packs. It could have came with the game originally. (At least its free)

I disagree. Jack, Jacob, Samara and Grunt missions were very good. They were heavily focused on these characters, as if they were 2nd loyalty missions, with multiple scenes, dialogues and developement. I think it was a very fair treatement. It is something that I wish Wrex and VS could have in ME2. What lacked was their involvement & presence in London. Had that been better, I wouldn't really have any complaints about these 4 (except for romance departement with Jacob & Jack but that's a whole other topic).Yannkee wrote...

2 years to develop the game is absurd, there should be at least one more year.
No need to say I would have waited one more year to have more Miranda.
