"And if anyone else sees it. I will kill you."

Amusing.

Well, looks like I'm going to have to stab Kai Leng then.

How did Kai Leng get to it? That boob can't even beat a terminally ill Assassin. How'd he get Miranda's gift to Shepard?

Probably in a cutscene. He seemed to have ALL the power in those.

Deviant Art does not have one reunion photo. Miss Rose is working on one though, and it will be ready on Thursday.

Also Deviant Art is better than Google images. Dear God the horror that's found in the latter.

I think it's hilarious that something called deviant art has all the tasteful stuff...

They're really bad. Crude and unpleasant are the words I'd use.

They have some really nice stuff on Deviant Art including Miranda in civilian dress. She looks good in them all, even business professional.

Lots of talent there. I'm eager to see what Mr. Massakka comes up with.

I'd think Miranda would have a great sense of fashion and what to wear.

When she wasn't working...

She really doesn't wear all that much when you think about it. From what you can see she isn't wearing much underneath either.

I would think she'd wear something though. That catsuit would make you sweat...

It's all high-tech material. Absorbs everything - it has to because it works in the vacuum of space

Or rather: we're supposed to let our intelligence drop by 40 points at the view and not think about it

A fair point, although that would have to be some serious tech.

But now I am thinking about it. This is your fault dammit. =]

Maybe it's best to head canon some sort of...absorbant material within it that does....

Up next is figuring out how to to make this look good in ME2.

Very impressive!

Is this a mod for ME3 or did you just manipulate textures out-of-game?

He did do it with manipulation of textures.

You can't really do anything to the models Ieldra. They don't have modding tools. Or that's what I was told.

He also put Miranda in a killer pair of jeans which makes the whole "I'm on the run" all the more believable.

So now I know who to think for the SB email, thanks to Dr. Doctor. Sylvf. Apparently Miranda's team was based on the Dark Avengers/Thunderbolts.

Unfortunately, I am not familiar with those. Would you explain, please?

@Taboo:
I just want to know if you can get Miranda in ME3 wearing that outfit.

To answer all three of your questions.

Dark Avengers

Thunderbolts

The key idea is "reformed super villains".

You can get that outfit when Jean Luc releases it. You can find all of his stuff in the Fan Creation part of the forum. But this is PC only of course.

Hey, I got a controversial question. Has anyone considered that Oriana really hindered Mirianda's character development?

Yes. Miranda's not going anywhere, but she sticks to the same stuff she was doing in ME2. Yeah, she left Cerberus, but that's never explored. Had they chosed not to make Oriana a focus of Miranda's attention again, things might have been different.

BTW, welcome back. Didn't see you here for some time.

I didn't really mind the lack of Cerberus stuff in Miranda's romance, I just felt that the Earth goodbye was somewhat emotionless. I did like how BioWare wrapped up Miranda's father's (was his name ever mentioned?) story arc.

A lot of things are left unsaid.

A lot of what's she doing has to be taken from a phone app. Dead serious.

You need to have the app to know at least these things.

She's still being Miranda (Interrogating people by force)
She cares about you (She sends a message after the apartment scene wishing you good luck if romanced)
That she wants you to know she's okay (She sends a message after Sanctuary if romanced)

I shouldn't have to use my damn iPhone to know this. She should be telling me she went Dirty Harry on some punk.

Instead she appears rather aloof most of time.

Aloof is a good description of her behavior in ME3. Maybe Yvonne Strahovski didn't have very much time for voice-work due to her busy schedule... :/

She isn't an A list actress. She'll go if the work is there. She wasn't in the game more because Bioware wrote it that way.

She recorded her lines late though, as did Martin Sheen, which makes me wonder if they had much of this planned out at all.

They had the budget, don't fool yourself. This is a AAA title. Hudson could get whatever he wanted.

Which makes it all the more silly that it ended up this way.

As much as I like Ali Hillis' voice-work, I think if the writers had spent a little less time on Liara and little more time on the ME2 squad, things would have evened out and mostly everyone would've been content with their romance.

The thing is is that the best part about Miranda in ME3 WAS the romance. It had a lot of stuff in it that was worthwhile. The reaffirmation of feelings when you first meet her is great. And I seem to be the only one in this thread that enjoys the scene in the apartment, at least in some capacity.

From a meta-gaming perspective, you can learn how much Shepard means to her if you view the break up scene on Youtube. She is more upset by the break up than ANY other character in the series. She cries and walks away without looking at him. It's very well done, although it's incredibly depressing. Also, should you see the scene where she's romanced and she dies by Kai Leng's hand, she tells you that she loves you.

A pity that the best content is reserved for things I don't want to see.

I've seen the romanced death scene on Youtube and it was incredibly bitter-sweet, I actually kind of liked it despite the fact that I would never let Miranda die on purpose. Throughout the entire game I expected her to tell Shepard that she loved him, but it never happened. Until I saw the death scene, that is...

You're not the only one who loved the apartment scene. : )

I suppose that's the film student in me though. I prefer things to be minimilist. If you go too far you're exploitative.

The scene is about two people finding comfort in one another for a short time. It doesn't need to be gratuitous for me to get the point. All you need to see is Miranda climbing on top of Shepard and forcing him down on the bed.

The point is not to arouse but to invoke emotion. These two people care about one another. And for a short time, the galaxies problems go away.

The scene makes me smile because it's inherently understood by not only life experience, but that it also reveals complexity through simplicity, which very few film directors can do.

It sort of reminds me of the Tali romance scene in Mass Effect 2; that one was also simple yet complex. Do you by any chance know who wrote for Miranda in ME3? Surely it wasn't Mac Walters?

A man named Jay wrote her in ME3 with guidance from Patrick Weekes, the man who wrote her romance content in ME2.

Mac Walters wrote her crit path in ME2 though. That explains quite a bit. The people who expose themselve to only that Miranda think she's a ****.

I have never seen writing as emotionally sterile as Mac Walters. He's blunt, incapable of expressing emotion without force and is as macabre as a teenager going through a rough time in middle school.

Stanley Kubrick had the same issue sometimes, but his films never insulted people. They simply had flat characters sometimes.

Mac Walters is guilty of just about every writing crime that you can commit.

He put exposition in a falling action. You don't do that. Ever. You get your ass laughed out of a script writing session or writing class for doing that.

And there you have it. Thank you.

Also, OT but since it's popular in here, does anyone have a concept for a Sentinel build? I'd like a personal opinion, if anyone could spare the time.

I'd like people's opinion from it here. Most of the online descriptions are...bad, as are the videos.
