Taboo told me that the renegade kiss scene hurts her self-esteem or something.

No I didn't.
I never said that you boob.

But I'll never tell you what it is.
You'd have to seek these things out yourself. Not even I dare say anything.

Renegade kiss. Shows her cocky as hell, even if it's a bit cliche. And it certainly doesn't hurt her self-esteem.

I prefer the Paragon Romance.
The Renegade options drive home the idea of competition driving the sexual tension. At least that's what the kiss scene implies.
The Paragon Romance builds her confidence and is less forceful.
I prefer the latter.
Okay, well, I was sorta right.
Renegade kiss is still better.

I still always laugh at "Come on Miranda, you want this", it just sounds so cheeeeeesy, but the scenes itself are really emotional, which I really enjoy.
I like the "I care about you Miranda. And I think you care about me" line

Ironically, for sheer romanticism, you can't beat turning her down via "Damn it--you're right." I'd pay 400 points just to make that a viable option.
That's not romantic in the slightest. That's called turning her down.

I love this line. That and the classic "And stop smiling, damn it".

I should really write down how that entire day went for the two of them.

yeah ;/ that could go better. or at least have a paragon kiss option! The dialog that jump starts it all it's really far from my favorite, but I like the 'stolen kiss' thing, I like some tension, makes it all even more believable and human.

But you get that option/situation later on, right before the Omega 4 Relay. You're the one who told me about it.jtav wrote...
I think the rejection is romantic, the way Casablanca is romantic. He wants her. She wants him. But duty demands otherwise. The romance becomes a reward, something they can have once the task is done.
