Remembering old times, when I had hopes in ME3, before they were curshed by the leaked script.

This is weird....I am going to play a bit of ME3, but what's up with Origin? What's with the update and the cloud data syncing?

EA updated the program to improve the interface and also enabled cloud saves for your games.

My cloud drive is always off. I have My Story on a Flashdrive already.

About Shepard and Miranda getting an appartment and wondering how long it would take the block to know... Depends, How thin are the walls? *wink wink nudge nudge* XD

About Shepard having PTSD, I do have some ideas for scenes written out, mostly of Shepard gasping for breath in his sleep and reaching for Oxygen Tanks that don't exist.

For several months after waking up, Shepard won't be able to do anything. He lost his arm and leg in the ruins of the Citadel. He will simply be unable to really be able to do anything for awhile.

Actually, yes. She'll get scared, espicially when he starts yelling in his sleep about the Suicide Mission and his death, but she's there to help him.

Shepard's going to be horribly embarassed though. He'll probably need help with EVERYTHING. He couldn't get dressed on his own.

The Control slide is unbelievably awesome. Reason enough to take that choice on its own.

For those wondering what Jean Luc's mod looks like in hologram form. I know someone was asking.

Yeah, it's awesome. It really makes me want to hang out at the Base with them.

Shepard's going to have his limbs cloned, but that'll take months normally, let alone after a galactic war. He could get a prosthetic leg (similar to what Zaeed could have had) but nothing that would be connected to his nerves. He'd have to relearn how to use his arm and leg and then relearn how to use them a third time once he had the cloned limbs attached. That's a lot of work. Probably easier to just have Miranda help him for a few months till he's back on his feet litterally.

Serious question: I wonder how she'd deal if she couldn't patch Shep up and they just had to live with it?

I like it becaue her personal and orofessional lives are treated as both/and instead of either/or. Sister? Check. Awesome goal? Check. Looks like she's treating Ori as more grown up, too.

serious answer: She brought him back from the dead. There is absolutely nothing she can't do to fix him.

Well, That depends on what you mean by patch Shepard up? It depends on how he was injured in your canon. In mine, he's got all sorts of issues; all his implants are busted including the eye implants so he's blind when he first wakes up (insert touching scene of Shepard feeling Miranda's face when he wakes up and knowing its her). His right leg was crushed under rubble and had to be amputated to get him out and his right arm was lost to infection (which I need to retcon in my fic as being up to the shoulder as that's where Marauder Shields shot him). Then we get into the mental issues. Oy vey...

She would still want to help him, and become frustrated at failing to restore his body.

But I think she could do it one way or the other. For me Miranda is like a woman who makes possible the impossible. She's like a goddess of victory.

I honestly think she'd be loyal to him. But she'd keep looking for a way, though. And I think she'd find something. If not actual cloned limbs, then maybe something tech-based.

The truth is, we aren't even that hard to please.

Miranda just needs to have her original writers back and to be liberated from the clutches of this space opera morality tale that she got plugged into after ME2.

Let's give him long term mobility or vision impairment, but leave his faculties intact. In other words, now that her lover is permanently flawed and she may need to help him long-term, how does she deal? I see her researching assistive tech and comfy sexual positions like mad.

Actually, Which sounds better? Tech-augumented Shepard (Robotic limbs) or Limb cloning?

I like the mental image of tech limbs and I hate how Limb Cloning just hides what happened in a way. Scars are like Shepard's history; he didn't like his going away after Project Lazerus. But, then again, it'll be cold metal wraped around Miranda at night which sounds odd to me.

What about implants like the ones from the I Robot movie, or from Bicentennial Man. They are biomechanical in the inside but they look normal from the outside. Only an expert could see the difference betwen them and normal limbs.

I was actually thinking about that but my Shepard probably wouldn't put on the external fake skin. The robotic limbs are a part of him and he isn't hiding that fact. Scars are a history made flesh.
