There was a vid. Where you pic the opition "He betrayed us" or something similar on the Collector base. Then Miri said something, but it sounded as if she wasn't sure. Like denial.

Yes, to me she starts having doubts during this mission, doubts confirmed later during the game. But I don't want to discuss this topic again.

Yeah sorry about that. :unsure:

I wish they give us the choice of kicking out of the team some members, i really wanted to dispose of Jack when she went to Miranda's office to fight with her.

@LuxDragon: That pic is hot! :P

I AGREE 100%  But I guess her sacrafice in the SM is close enough. Sorry again for bashing.

Niceeeeeee.  It's good to know she has some abs. She could kick Jack's ass in a stand-up fight with no biotics. Posted Image

This has to be my favorite love interest of both games, she needs to be in ME3.....:wub:

She will be in ME3 (Casey Hudson) and apparently she will have "several scenes" (Mac Walters said he had to review several Miranda scenes). So I guess one of the worst-case scenarios is already avoided.

@MegaBadExample:
The ability to take down enemies doesn't come without training. I like it. Miranda should be somewhat athletic. I hope she appears a little more athletic in ME3 than in ME2.

BTW, isn't that a suggestive name? I hope you won't live up to it :P

So we do not have to worry about the content and time for Miri correct? What other worst-case scenarios are there?

A crappy storyline regarding her in a way that BioWare just gave us the finger. And laughed at us. And kicked us while we were down.

Ah yes. That is one to worry about. BioWare giving us the finger and giving Miri a crappy storyline in ME3 is definitely something to worry about.:unsure:

Okay, a quick question. I'm going through a Renegade playthrough and was just wondering what Miranda does if you don't blow up the collector base at the end of the game?

I wouldn't know. I guess she doesn't resign. I'm not sure what her reaction is if you keep it.

She doesn't resign, and clearly has doubts about Cerberus.

What does Miri actually say to you after the Mission if you do not destroy the base?

"Before we've started this mission, I never would have questioned our goals. I just hope we made the right choice."
"I hope whatever Cerberus finds in that base is worth it"

And we don't know if she resigns or not.

Hmmmmm.

I prefer the other. The resignation fits her character development better, but that's my opinion.

That base is an abomination. I like the fact that Miri agreed on destroying it. Miri telling TIM off and resigning is one of my favorites parts of the SM.

IMO, I'm glad Miri resigns. She doesn't belong with them anymore. She's better than that.

She's part of something better now, with someone better.

Nothing happens. Miranda doesn't resign, and Shepard apparently remains in an uneasy alliance with the Illusive Man (knowing what we know now, that doesn't last). Later, Miranda is of two minds about the decision.

Hmm, now I'm thinking that they put Miranda's out-of-character moment at the Collector base in to justify that she won't be with Cerberus in ME3.

@101:
"Abomination" is a judgmental term loaded with moral meaning that is not applicable  when you deal with strategic resources.  If the life of the galaxy is at stake, you cannot afford to follow moral intuitions like that, specifically if all you want to get from it is information about how better to fight the Reapers. Miranda would know that  But we had that discussion. (jtav said it more succintly in her post below)

Which is something I've been saying myself Ieldra...
They will either railroad her into resigning no matter out CB decision

OR

make her reluctantly go back to (or continue) working for Cerberus

Well, since that debate seems to be on the horizon. Monstrous things were done at the base, but studying it is no atrocity. Miranda ought to know it, and her specific reasoning is OOC.
