Here's the thing, that slide makes no sense to me. I mean, I'm glad they threw you kids a bone (though you deserved more than a slide that can be swapped with Jack...), but why is she waiting for Shep? It's not like he got stranded far away from Earth. He's in orbit. And she's fighting when the war ends (she's on Earth, right? Fighter piloting things?). So like, by the time this slide takes place (no signs of battle, and she 's just chillin in the mountains or something), shouldn't Shep be on Earth in a hospital healing or home already? Why is she looking to the stars?

I get the "artistic" intent behind it, and it's a pretty slide, but in the timeline of the narritive, I just don't get it...

It makes about as much sense as Ashley being psychic.

SHE JUST KNOWS OKAY?

But in all seriousness, it's there to tell you shes alive and is waiting or coming, or whatever.

Ashley is psychic.  It's how she knew to hate Cerberus before everyone else did!

Besides, your Garrus is psychic!

Off topic, but would Eliza Cassan have made a better Catalyst?

"It's not the end of the world but you can see it from here." was one of my favorite lines from the game. Anyway the Catalyst isn't the kid. It's obviously Glyph the Info Drone:

The guiding intelligence for the entire Reaper fleet was sitting aboard the Normandy the entire time.

I would think Miranda would be rather impatient in this regard. It's been months since she's seen him in a state that wasn't high stress.

In that regard, I'd imagine she'd either force her way into the hospital where he is being kept, or trick her way in, just to see him, much like she wanted to before.

That photo can take place years in the future in the country side. You once said that Shepard could be cooking her dinner. Mine won't but it's a thought.

I don't think she would necessarily need to force or trick her way in.

Ummmmmm... she fought on the Alliance's side.  Why wouldn't she just walk in?  Pretty sure a consious Shep would vouche for her too.

HE'S CONSCIOUS, SHUT UP!

The exposition needed to be there, but not there.

Agreed. It needed to be something that you discovered gradually throughout the game, so that, once you arrived at that point, you were ready to be presented with a choice.

Basically, that is one thing they could accomplish with the Leviathan DLC. Get you up to date early on, thereby allowing you to nullify the tedium of starbrat. (Probably with some additional info, or even more *clarification* of the original endings.)

Well, in major part because of Lance, i've headcanoned that she is part of the team that finds Shepard and since she knows him better than anyone else (health wise) she becomes his doctor and follows every step of his recovery.

She'll be here when he wakes up, she'll take care of his rehabilitation and then they'll just stay together.

What they do next is still to be headcanoned

Shepard's status would be top secret. Unless Miranda gets him herself, like you did for yourself.

I would think that even Hackett would have enough sense to let her see him, as I'm sure they know about the relationship.

She's not only in a relationship with him, she also has intimate knowledge of his body. In two ways.

The only question is is what they'll do to her when he wakes up.

I assume the Alliance knows about Lazarus. Not only will she see him, she'll be consulting.

Aside from overseeing his recovery and handling of his Lazarus implants, I'm not sure.

If you're talking about punishment, I imagine she might be dragooned into helping the Alliance in exchange for no charges being filed. I like to think she vanishes into the air a few months later.

Well you have her get into trouble.

I'd think that Shepard could pardon her, as he is still a Spectre and I'm sure Hackett would give him a break and grant him a favor.

She fought for the alliance and was part of your war effort!  She was there on Earth!  She said so in the hologram goodbye!

I feel pardon's are pretty standard in this situation...

Even without his status as a Spectre, he was the person who saved the galaxy.

Three times.

In less than 10 years.

Ah yes "favors".

I think they'd throw him a bone.

But I wonder how she'd react to him getting her one?

Thoughts?

That's not even a fair comparison, because they were on the enemy's side.  MIRANDA FOUGHT WITH THE SWORD FLEET!

Miranda: Take out the trash!
Shepard: I got you pardoned!
Miranda: I brought you back from the dead!
Shepard: (sheepishly takes out trash)

No.

Miranda would not work in the employ of the Alliance. She might work with them, but not for them.

I have some ideas floating around (as well as my unpublished chapter 5), but I'm contemplating whether or not I should give up on it.

From the slides we've seen with the EC I believe she was pardoned for her time with Cerberus and even works with the Alliance from time to time. She's just to valiable for the Alliance arrest her.

That certainly sounds familiar
