Why not a private location? Away from everyone?

Actually, I think Aite would be would be cool, even with the whole "impending planetary destruction" thing. The moon is estimated to impact around the same time Shepard and Miranda would naturally die of old age (give or take a few years).

It's also the plot basis for Melancholia, now that I think about it.

Some weird planet for "some weird sin"?

I hope someone gets the reference. It has NOTHING to do with what you think it does.

No goat slaughter then?

Stay away from Lars von Trier if you aren't ready. His film  preceding Melancholia film beats A Serbian Film on two parts. I always like to disturb people a few years younger than me though. I CAN top A Serbian Film. PM me if you want one.

And no, it does not have anything to do with goats. People like Miranda seek some weird sin. Just like Iggy.

But I like the idea of them going somewhere quiet, at least for a while, at least until the galaxy calms down. They can also take care of therapy...or something. I can't just have Shepard get up and walk out of bed.

Someplace aesthetically pleasent.

It's called "Crashing the Party." In reference to that line in the last conversation, I guess?

Is it just me, or does her eye color look... artificial?

Well, I don't know, but it might have been adjusted, a bit like the biotic glow was added.

Or they could both be natural Posted Image

Nice cosplay.

I'll spare you the references that led to this thought, but it is to Miranda's credit just how much she puts herself out there emotionally. Shepard can break her heart. So can Ori. But that leads to happy, strong relationships, albeit ones that were mishandled because she got stuck in a morality tale. But learning to risk that emotional pain is a good thing, and she's rewarded for it. Compare with Jacob, who clams up when you ask about his problems. One romance fails. The other thrives.

A lot of the aesthetically pleasing planets are the same planets I can't really envision Miranda living on, except maybe Bekenstein.

Long nights cuddled together on some cold world? Can you get on board?

Cold planets are not typically aesthetically pleasing.

Well, I agree. And that is why I have never had any issue with the emotional depth of Miranda's character. It is good that it is what it is.

I have other issues that I think are extremely valid, but I feel I have sufficiently fatigued these forums on that topic for the moment Posted Image

This is a habitable cold planet.

Do you get snow where you live? Snow can be VERY pleasing to the eye, especially when the light hits it just right...

Dude, Taboo is right. Sequestered together in a warm cabin somewhere surrounded by snow? As long as they have supplies and power (and given this is the miri thread, I could see some of you headcanoning starvation, you silly grimdarkers), cold is romantic as can be.

No, my Shepard just gets yelled at for taking too much of the blanket.

Bearskin rug by the fire, right?

Do they still have bearskin in the future?

Why would there be a bear on this planet?

Can't she just yell at Shepard for taking too much of the blanket?

She'll have to do all the cooking...

Have you ever seen a bear? Those ***holes can keep coming AFTER you've put a bullet in their heads.

Also, I'm joking about the whole cabin thing...

We need to get some...class.

Dude, cabin's are awesome. How can you live in North Dakota and not know this??

Plus, it's clear from the slides that Miranda likes being out in nature, now that she's allowed...

Dawg, I have a pitiful excuse for a residence in Montana. I'm too young to afford anything fancy.

Believe me, it's only romantic until the snow blocks you in your cabin for three days without power.

Shepard and Miranda would HAVE to stay in bed to stay warm.

Dude, it's the future.  If they can keep starships in the dead of space warm, they can keep cabins on cold planets warm.

Also, I don't see the problem in your previous post.  I'm not saying they'd live there full-time, but for a vacation for a week or two?

They have a trailer in Aus.

What more do they need?
