It's called "Crashing the Party." In reference to that line in the last conversation, I guess?
Thanks, guys.
Also, I don't have a 'head canon' either, flemm. I even hate the term.

Cheers for this! Interesting use of distancing in the language choice she has there. I would say that I don't think she carried out the interrogation...but I could understand a case being made for the opposite.MisterJB wrote...

What did she DO to Veetor? O_o

I expect Veetor was unresponsive because he is unstable and was in an unfamiliar environment, much like he is when Shepard finds him. So, Cerberus gave him drugs to keep him lucid.
It's not an email from Miranda but one about her (well, to her, but not from Shepard).KyleR92 wrote...

They were responding to someone talking about that course of events. What you're asking sounds like you want people to put 'IMO' at the end of their posts.Ieldra2 wrote...

It's actually not from Miranda, but about Miranda. It's something you get at the SB terminal after Sanctuary. Basically it explains that she and some other operatives (presumably also ex-Cerberus) have been taking out Cerberus bases and other fun stuff.
Edit: Oops, hot_heart already answered this.
IMO, in my head, relative to MY Shepard, subjectively speaking.

It should be obvious that they are talking about *their* Shepard, unless they specifically say they're talking about someone elses. In which case, they are still talking about a "personal shepard" and therefore doesn't align with everyones view of him anyway.
Either way, there is no overall canon and everyone is free to interpret motives, desires, and speech in anyway they please. None of them are wrong, despite the differing opinions among their peers.
I'm really not trying to sound rude, but sometimes I think people forget that nearly everything about Shepard is completely up to the individual.

Yeah, the email and the slides save her presence in ME3 from being a total failure, but nothing can repair the absence of a Miranda/Cerberus arc, because had she had a significant impact on the big picture there, we would know about it. I was talking with Elyvern yesterday about how Miranda and Shepard were equals in ME2 and how ME3 destroyed that.jtav wrote...
I just finished a game where I romanced the VS and it really drove home how much the email and slides did for Miranda. Not that I wouldn't like more Miranda content, but I know now that Shep was only seeing a piece of the puzzle and she was also leading a crack team while fretting over Ori. And I know she's working on something significant post-war. The team will never get that.
It may be hard to be equal to a living legend, but Miranda had her own legendary achievement in ME2. All that was needed was an impressive role and presence in the Cerberus plot...
I don't mean that it fixed her completely. But it saved me from writing her off the way I have Ash. It was damage control, but at least she got damage control and I will cheerfully sacrifice romance for that.

Jeff Bridges has a cabin in Montana. He isn't JUST like the Big Lebowski but he's laid back like that. He'd sit and have a beer with you. No bull****.
But I do love interpretations. Be thankful that Miranda gets so many, and and is so diverse. Not a lot of characters get that.

The Dude abides
On the subject of Miranda's morality and the type of actions she tends to recommend, I always found it refreshing that her recommendations tend to fall a bit on the far side of what I/my Shepard would instinctively want to do.
I think it's one reason she is fun to have around.
Sometimes she recommends something that makes sense pragmatically, and I get to say: Hahahaha yes, that makes sense, but you forget, this is a game, and I am playing the hero, so everything I do will work hahahaha.
And she gets to roll her eyes.
Other times we'll be in a situation, and she'll say something, and my reaction will be: Ummm, really? Are you sure we need to do that lol?
It's just more entertaining that way.

We have disagreements here. Not that bad usually.
Some people take things more seriously than others in here and that's okay.
But yeah, most of us are really laid back.
You'll fit in fine here.

Hey we all take stuff seriously here, but we're a bit more real. We get into ethical debates more than, "What does Tali's sweat taste like "
Newcomers are more than welcome.
It let's us beat the Tali thread.
They were actually upset we had nearly as many pages as them, so they just posted random irrelevant crap to pull ahead like 15 pages.
edit* Just watch out for a certain fan who takes his obsessive love for Miranda further than even the wildest Tali-mancer could ever imagine.
:whistle:You'll know him when you see him.

Disagreements of opinion are fine by me, but this was with the fundamentals of the thread and the people posting in it, e.g. male Shepard content being scoffed at and brushed to the side by an avalance of FemShep stuff.
Edit: Anyways, this isn't about LIARA. DIS BOUT MIRANDA!

If FemShep could romance Miranda, you best believe thats what I would be doing. I'd be Roxanne/Miranda all the way. Unfortunately, its not available to FemShep.
I don't have any problem playing as Sheploo, none at all, Riley (My Shep) and Miranda are great together. But as a female gamer I do feel more connected to my own gender.
