Why not at least attempt a connection before you die?

To help Orianna, or romance Shepard? Sure. Have a baby when you are getting ready to go through the Omega 4 relay? I'm sorry, but that is just nonsense.

Pay attention to what I'm saying. Quote the entire post.

The idea is connection before it starts not during.

You don't honestly believe I meant that this was taking place DURING the mission do you? The part about the child?

It's not what you meant that I am criticising. But rather the dossier, which is just a dumb retcon.

Not you, *at all*. On the contrary, I admire your efforts to understand this.

But, as you say, it makes no sense during the mission, and it is clear from the dossier that it is intended to take place DURING the mission. Which just makes it nonsense.

The Normandy was being designated before the mission started. There is no time during the mission.

She was running about before hand in the comics. There was more than enough time to do this.

I think it was Liara's writer who might have written the SB dossiers...  I'll have to pull up that video of the writers talking to the fans at the latest convention.   I think it's near the end.  I'll have to listen to all 53 minutes of it again.  The audio wasn't that great!

That would imply she had plans from the beginning to quit project Lazarus to become a mother.
That just doesn't make any sense for me, sorry.

Only one thing for Miranda appears in the SB Dossier during the course of the game.

It is the correspondence between her and her sister. No date is given for anything else.

That leaves everything open to interpretation.

Versus Ashley who calls him a traitor to everything she stands for and runs away whining about her love for the alliance, all because he's facing the threat, just not wearing the alliance colors?

get pwned n00b!

Just kidding, we're bros.

Indeed. And I sincerely do admire your efforts to make sense of it. And I enjoy these discussions. It's important not to lose sight of that.

Personally, I am content to merely curse the day that Mr. Weekes lost or gave up control of my favorite character B)

If you take one aspect of it as an oversight, as fiendishchicken pointed out to me, a lot of it goes away.

The SR2 part of the username can be a hiccup, a mistake. Lord knows they made mistakes with this before.

That being said, remove that from the equation and you have a time frame.

That would remove the SM nonsense AND would give you a twenty year period to choose from.

Wouldn't this make more sense ten years ago for her?

Considering her young age... not really, no.

She would have been twenty six.

She's thirty six in ME2.

I'd say that's and entirely viable period of time.

Most people would have picked up on that not being the case but thanks for creeping me out.

I put it anywhere from 76-82. After that, she has a war to fight and/or a boyfriend.

Yes, just recognized I mistakenly thought she was ~25 in ME2.

Is it ok if I just post a pic lol?

I'm not really against anything you want to make up to explain it, I just don't think it's a really good sign for the coherence of the thing that we have to do that.

Miranda Lawson :wizard:

Wonders what the **** this bull**** was supposed to mean as well.

Well if from what I hear some seriously stupid **** happened in Deception. I looked at an error list. I was awestruck.

If they can't be bothered to know that people don't grow out of autism or switch sexuality I don't see why they couldn't let something as silly as this go by.

I'm not surprised people didn't fact check.

As opposed to things like the slides, which engender the good sort of speculation. I know what they say, but meaning is debatable.

That hurts Kaidan's feelings.

Which is weird, because he's dead on Virmire...

Normally I would be really anal about these types of things, but you can't make sense of some things unless you take some liberties. If you make the SR2 part of her name a mistake, you have a huge window.

I'll go with that.

That's one less Earth shaking debate I won't have to solve before going to bed.

But I won't be sleeping tonight because of what I read about Pinochet and dogs...
