Wouldn't this make more sense ten years ago for her?

Considering her young age... not really, no.

She would have been twenty six.

She's thirty six in ME2.

I'd say that's and entirely viable period of time.

Actually... um...

She's 35. ME2 takes place in 2185.

I give Miranda the same Birthday as Yvonne (July 30th). At the very beginning of ME2 (which is just after ME1 which I believe takes place a little after Shepard's 29th birthday, April 11th. ME1 for me ends a in mid June of 2183) she's 32, and getting close to 33. By the time ME2 starts proper, she's 34, and pushing 35. By the time we get to ME3 She has been 36 for a few months.

Of course, age for humanity has been lengthened by the medical advances of the late 22nd century with the average lifespan for a human being lengthened to something like 150 years. And Miranda would benefit further from this by her increased lifespan making her more than likely to live past 200. She ages much slower, and I'd put her physical age in ME2 and ME3 in her mid 20's, or about 24-27

^ That wouldn't work. She'd have to slow down at some point.

That means would have went through puberty at an older age.

I...don't want to envision that...

As stated by some before, i find it quite ridiculous to believe she would engage in trying to get pregnant during or even before the mission. It simply makes no sense

This, therefore, pushes the idea that this dating site was maybe to blow off steam. People have needs and when you are very lonely..... well yea. Her nitpicking in their health profils can simply be interprated as a quirck of hers, to make sure she gets involved with someone who is healthy.

Oh and kaymarierose, those pics were fantastic. Great job, though i'm in the groupe that visualises her better with a daughter.

Then why would she have unprotected sex? She only has relations with ONE of the men.

It's best just to throw away the dossier. It makes no sense, either logistically or from a character standpoint.

LOTSB/ME3 Miranda is not ME2 Miranda.

We aren't even sure she had sex with him. Everything beyond those emails is pure speculation.

Just saying.

Three of the four men are dismissed.

The last one tells said man where to go and when.

It's incredibly stupid, but I think the authorial intent is clear.

The possiblity that she slept with him is there, yes. But who's to say she didn't beat him over the head with a baseball bat?

She drugged him and saved him for later, to push into the synthesis beam, so that Shepard could live.  It all was going according to plan!

...Then she forgot to show up for the end of ME3.  D'oh!

Are you suggesting that Miranda drugged him and masturbated him to climax while he was unconscious?

That's even more ridiculous.

It's perfectly fine if she slept with them. She was single.

I think it's the same Miranda who just got a little bit off track too abrupt.
From the beginning she was supposed to be the ruthless agent who is just a sensitive woman with wishes for a family underneath. It's just bad executed.

I do too. That's how I've always seen her.

It was poorly executed.

No, not at all. Who's to say she did anything sexual at all. Just because she researched stuff about the guys doesn't mean she was going to do anything with them. It may have just been a procaution should something happen. Could have been a glorified date for all we know. Again, its all speculation. What she did, or didn't do beyond those emails is nothing we will ever know.

I think I'm just going to take the SR2 as a mistake and make these emails a few years older.

That would explain her looking at relationship books and the like. Trying to understand beforehand.

And then she become the Miranda we know today.

Much less...bull****.

The biggest irritant they have with one another?

She hogs the covers.

He drinks from the carton.

Shepard also leaves the toilet seat up.

That one gets her the most.

Sure that would have been possible if it's just the iPartner mails, but the infertility mail and the record of her subscriptions makes the iPartner things fit in a very clear big picture. (A picture I don't fully like either)

So here is the link to my Deviant Art page, all full sized art is available for download there.

As a bonus for being on BSN and being the kind and lovely people you are, I have an extra piece for you.

Awwwww!  Simply beautiful! You've made my day!   Love them all!   It's true, they should have a boy first! ;)

Agreed (Though I think a daughter would be more... Heartfelt, for lack of a better descriptor).

Kaymarierose and Yannkee make the best wallpapers. Keep at it.

And when he forgets to feed the fish.

And she puts all her soaps in the shower, and he can't find his Irish Spring so he has to use her $1000 shampoo, and she gets angry at him for that.

I have no idea what's been going on in this thread.

People have been discussing the meaning of certain elements of Miranda's LotSB dossier and what it signifies for her as a character. Needless to say, I'm with flemm and jtav on this. Just didn't need to say something myself because all I could do was add QFT, this or suchlike.

Best throw away the dossier and pretend it doesn't exist.

It isn't that he forgets, it's that he asks Miranda to do it when he does forget.

My biggest problem is how she treated those men. If I were Shepard, those messages would cause me to reevaluate whether I wanted the relationship for fear I'd be treated the same. Other than that, she wasn't cheating and didn't contract an STD, so it's none of my business.

Ironically, the Miranda we're actually shown is a skilled, playful, and attentive lover most of my Shepards would look up for a one-night stand.

So, I read through the files again...there are no dates for them. The only evidence of what time they happened was sometime after she discovered she was working on the SR2, which could have been a year prior to the start of the game. Is is possible to assume that the iPartner emails were done at the beginning of ME2 when she was single, just for companionship? And the Medical tests after she started an actual committed relationship with Shepard (should she be romanced)?

That would make the most sense to me.

That's why it's best to not even read the messages.

If I take the SR2 part of the username as a mistake on the part of the writer **** gets a lot less dumb.

We don't have a logic gap now.

Dirty clothes all over the bathroom floor?   Hair shavings in the sink!
