20 + 0.66 * 15 = 30.

Since the human life expectancy at birth in the ME universe is around 150 (ME1 Codex), which is about 1.875 that of today (150/80), this gets reduced further to

20 + 0.53 * 10 = 25.3

Which means that:

(1) To a person living in the ME universe, Miranda would appear as a 30-year-old woman would to us.
(2) By early 21st century standards, Miranda would appear like a woman of about 25.

The only part of the dossier that I would even consider making "canon" would be the infertility.

The other parts (exception being the magazine subscription) seem like active attempts to make people dislike Miranda or give them reason to not pursue a romance with her.

Her chat with Oriana paints her as socially retarded, and the iPartners makes her look to be a horny **** (but a responsible one) who is so desperate for a child that she'll sleep with an unknown number of partners in an attempt to conceive.

I always assumed it happened during the 2 years of Lazarus. I considered it to be a search for simple companionship through casual sex (let it have actually happened or not) and the medical tests were just prevention for diseases.

Just now I realize how it all is supposed to tie together with the other e-mails: find about infertility, quit science magazine, desperately try to get pregnant... but it just doesn't fit with her storyline in ME2. It doesn't fit that she would have wanted to quit Lazarus for the child of a random man.

So I'll just go with what I originally thought and ignore the stupid attempt from the writers of the dossier. Works for me, because it doesn't directly contradicts the mails, but interprets them different.

I think you misunderstood Prometheus...

And I don't think she was looking for sex.  She made no inquiry to their looks.  Say whatever you want about the future, or tolerance, or Miranda, people need to be attracted to the person they're having sex with at least a little.

That would make sense...  I'd head cannon it that way...

I have almost in my fic but with some added twists and flavors.   You'll see as the story progressing... from what I have written about it thus far.  My cannon Shepard(just to be clear to all those that wish we "cannonize" our interpetations.  *teasings* )

I'd like to head cannon it that way... it was before she started working on Shepard.  She wouldn't give those men the time of day because that was her "ole ****y self" before she was softened by Shepard. 

My cannon Shepard actually asks her about them... which only gives Shepard some wierd vibes... of  jealousy.   She teases Shepard.   That chapter is coming up soon.

I went to lectures about this film. They had experts and everything.

People will have sex JUST to have sex.

You want the chemical realease that is atrributed to orgasm with coitus. Masturbation does not fufill the same need.

Good lord. Why does everyone seem to think she wanted a child from the iPartner site. I think she might have just been sexually curious or something. She was raised isolated. She had no social life PERIOD.

Romance was forign to her and she was curious. Suddenly, DATING WEBSITE! She can explore a bit what it is to have a romance and a relationship. As she found out, Its certainly no romeo and juliet.

Just look at how she responds to Shepard's Romance.

She wasn't trying to date though.  She didn't bother talking to any of the guys.  She just found one with good genetics and send him coordinates.

Well there's a difference between casual sex and sex with someone you care about. The latter gives you a chemical release in large quantities. 

She sure as **** knew what she was doing in the engine room. Shepard is her first real connection though.

It would be great for her.

I don't think that particular section is strong evidence in either direction.

The files could have been about anything ranging from fertility to STDs. Or both.
