I also think that, in an RPG like this, you should be able to choose. it is not quite like a novel or whatever. It is supposed to largely be the player's story. 

You *can* choose if Miranda lives, I just didn't know the triggers the first time and I somehow missed informing her of Kai Lenge.  Every one of my PTs since then she lives, of course, all my PTs are with an imported Shepard so YMMV. 

As for endings, it in my FanFic, but it's not for you Miranda folks.

I think the high ems destroy ending is realistic enough.  There's a cost, and things need to be rebuilt.  And it specifically mentions all the lives lost (a given in WAR).  It's an ending that strikes me very much like the end of WWII was to America.  Yeah, there was a cost, lots of death, and some things that needed to be addressed, but for the winning side, it was pretty sweet.

That's great!  Seeing how emotionally wrecking the original endings were, I'm not surprised to see FanFic. Mine was started pre-EC and has about two chapters to go.
I really like Miranda's character so I'm glad you guys, like us other LI folks, are filling in the voids left by ME3.

One of my favorites areas of study in film was how characters reacted to the world they existed in. If the society is opressive, the people act opressed and rebellious. If not it's unrealistic. I don't see a very positive elemetns in the first few weeks. That being said I can afford some hapiness, as new things must arise from the ashes.

But it must fit within the parameters that have been set.

Shepard being a symbol for a rebuilt society is entirebly reasonable to me. So I allow it. If it wasn't he would die on the Citadel. Miranda is for similar reasons, but not as a symbol.

That's how I see it.

In my head, I see Miranda helping fight a resurgent Cerberus years after the war. She's, of course, older but still a powerful biotic and her brain is as sharp as ever. She gets intel that Cerberus is rebuilding and goes to Shepard. By this time, Shepard is a semi-retired Admiral. His son, David Shepard, has recently got N7 status and is tapped to investigate.

It can be avoided. But that is the focus of her content. Anyone can see that. I don't like it, but that is what the group of devs responsable for her content this time around were focusing on.

Yep it's clear devs have no interest in Miranda lives scenario and only reason we got it was because she had a large enough fanbase to stop them railroading it.

What movie is this?  If it's the one I think it is, it's not a classic, no normal person likes it, just nutso art people who don't understand human society...
