I was one of the people saying that (and will continue to do so). Compare Miranda's ME3 scene with Ashley's, or hell, with the engine room scene in ME2. They don't need to show us the actual intercourse, I can imagine how that went myself. It (understandably) makes one feel cheated when the person he chooses to romance has a fade-to-black, but another character has a full scene with work put into it.

Shepard just magically teleporting out of the room and the door locking itself (as well as Miranda just disappearing) is the final insult.

The cut is the issue. There is no aftermath. Everyone else was comforted before Cronos.

But you can always, you know, imagine what they talked about.

It could use some tweaks, certainly.

But wouldn't it be better to simply get a brand new one and have THAT to lord over the Talimancers?

The day they do "sex scene DLC" is officially the day I become uncomfortable as a ME gamer.

As I've said before I don't mind the thing in the apartment.

But people keep saying that they want "a real love scene".

They can certainly put one in a Miranda DLC but I sure won't buy it for that.

That would be okay.  Would it work in conjunction with the apt scene?  I wouldn't want that scene replaced, it's good!

Meh.....i don't really need a love scene.

All i want is an emotional talk between the two of them.

Would you support this in future DLC? People really seem to want it...

DLC where you convince Ashley to undergo cosmetic surgery in an effort to look like Miranda?

...where can I buy it?

She can't talk about her fertility as that would cause a big "whoa oh".

What could they say to one another?

So if BW put out a DLC pack that contained "a mission that ended in a love scene" for all the acharacters that currently dont have one (ex: Miranda.Jack,Thane) would you buy that?

In a New York minute.

You have to buy it in a bundle.

And it's Liara who gets the surgery.

And all of the dialoge is written by Mac Walters.

Only 10000 MSP or a ****load of USD!

For starters, reverse the usual pattern. Let her comfort and reassure Shepard.

Actually, I think the infertility could be an appropriate topic to discuss after the love scene.

Preferably, there doesn't need to be a negative response from Shepard should a dialogue wheel appear. There was already one chance to break her heart, there doesn't need to be another.

I would support Auto Dialouge in this scene. Totally. There is no need for another scene of possible heartbreak.

But wouldn't that kind of put the people who choose Synthesis and Control into a corner?

I think, if they were smart enough, they could find a way to present the scene so that players discuss only the topics they wanted. I know players tend to just click every available dialogue path, but you could always have Miranda do her little "Shepard..." so you get the sense that maybe she doesn't want to discuss something? Then you have the choice of pursuing it or not.

I dunno. Just spitballing.

Well, I think, on the contrary, of course they could talk about it. Since it was introduced, they probably should. This type of thing is not unheard of in Bioware games by any means.

The reason it hasn't been talked about is that it wasn't introduced to be talked about in a rational, mature manner. Which is really my only complaint about it. I will stop complaining about it the moment my Shepard can actually have that conversation with Miranda.

Why not give people the chance to break her heart? It's a good RP opportunity. I'd comfort her, but not every Shep would.

Because by that point you would have already affirmed the romance earlier on the Citadel? What would be the point of affirming it earlier, only to be a grade-A **** later?

I don't play as often as some of you here or write as fast.

There is only one Shepard for me, with certain variants. Such as a different class. I have only really ever played as a Vanguard. I'm starting a whole new playhthrough of the games as a Sentinel, but I won't change much.

There is one finite story that I want. OCD plays a part in it but I really don't care.

Well, I honestly don't really care because I know what choice I'd make Image IPB

What I meant was that I'm very comfortable in the story I have now. I'm aware of the other content and it is of no interest to me.

The OCD comes into play when I focus on very specific things. No stress involved.

I discover new things everytime I play ME2 though, so it always feels fresh.

Hmmm, maybe later Ieldra will come back with some news about how other people have said "maybe" to more Miranda content.

Juicy rumors indeed Image IPB

You already had the option.

You can't change your mind after releasing the rachni queen on Utukku.

I'm not a fan of seeing women cry like that in any context. Real life or otherwise.

It's horrible.

Unpleasant, even from a role playing perspective.

Affirming the romance twice is the norm, including with Miranda. Telling a player about infertility after lock-in strikes me as unfair.

... Your point being what exactly? No other choice in the game lets you backtrack and repick, so why should this be a special case?
