We do have a tendency to stay up late here...
But I like working at night. I get more done and there are no loud noises. Except when deer get in the back yard. That **** can cause problems.
I would think that Oriana would stay with Miranda for a while though, at least until she can do something reasonably. That is to say, travel and be able to work.
A crude family they are, but a family none the less, My Shepard and they.

I don't know about anyone else, but I thought the scenes during the initial meeting on the Citadel where she smiling while talking were absolutely cringe-worthy. It looked awful.

She hasn't seen the most important man in her life in six months.
You can tell a lot about her by looking at her facial expression. A wince or smile tells you what she's thinking right away.
She's overjoyed that he's there, but being Miranda she doesn't express it openly.
She does however, perform a public display of affection, which is something she wouldn't have done two years prior, with anyone.

In ME2 there are scenes where she looks really good, and there are scenes where her animation is really bad. ME3 is consistently very good, so she overall does look better in ME3.
