Pointing this out: This is spam. It's off-topic, annoying and reserved for PMs.

Stop it now and we'll all be happy.

You're right, there's hardly any difference. It's subjective, I'd prefer to see Miranda start fresh rather then attempt to redeem Cerberus on a new path.

Does anyone else find it odd that covert Cerberus operatives have the Cerberus emblem on their armor? It's not very subtle.

Cerberus...now under new management! It's not just for terrorists any more. ™

I find it odd that I can just land a ship with a huge Cerberus logo painted on it at the Citadel. Maybe it uses a fake Alliance transponder and the hope is that no one will just look out the window at it. Or maybe it's simply so that Jack can see it and say, "Cerberus!" But then they could have just had her recognize Miranda from somewhere...

Anyway, I agree. Change the name for PR purposes. The real players who need to work with it will know it's "meet the new boss, same as the old boss" anyway. Works great for presidential elections here in the U.S...

I know this is off topic, But I must find out how.

@Melrache How did you compress that gif to a smaller size so that it can be your avatar?

I think Miranda's role in ME3 will be a big one as she just quit Cerberus, and is probably hiding on some off world avoiding Cerberus operatives. I wouldn't mind having her as a perm squaddie, but I definitely want her with me when we take down Cerberus and possibly TIM. She wasn't my fav squaddie at first, but she grows on you.

GIFs are indexed color images, which means that the less colors they use the less their size, also the the less frames they have the less their size, don't ever use dithering or color gradients... these are some basic tips (the rest comes with experience) and please stop asking Mel about this in Miri's thread, take it to PMs.

IIRC, technically it is the logo of Cord-Hislop Aerospace, one of Cerberus' front businesses.

''Cord-Hislop is actually used by Cerberus as a front to fund their activities. Paul Grayson was assigned to Cord-Hislop's sales department when he adopted Gillian Grayson, and eventually climbed to the executive ranks as a cover for his work with Cerberus. ''

I just don't like watching him protect Liara and not Miranda.

Me too.
But it's not the only thing made for Liaramancers in this DLC ... the constant spaming of Paragon QTE, or some lines during conversations are very disturbing.
My Shepard is not close to Liara and never will be, I would have like to have the possibility to be more distant with Liara during this DLC.

the constant paragon interrupts were quite annoying after a while i agree but it was a decent mission. i was actually disappointed that you couldn't save/recruit vasir more than anything.

Seriously 101, if you don't stop spamming your personal drama every other post there will be consequences... coming to this thread is actually a chore now.

In the game, the Paragon interupts don't annoy me, I play most of them, but this time it was like forcing me to hug Liara even if I don't want to. I was already upset during the hug scene on Illium, then there is the Paragon interrupts spamming, and finally an another forced hug at the end of the conversation on the Normandy.

<_<

But now we know which LI will be favored in ME3.

I read that, but where does it say that the logo of Cerberus and Cord-Hislop is one and the same? As I understand it, Cerberus has lots of different  business fronts.

What happens if you don't use Paragon Interrupts during Lair of the Shadowbroker? I can't remember.

Nothing, but if you don't use the first one, there are other ones just after (3 or 4 I don't remember).

There's a whole thread about this. Unfortunately nobody quotes an original source. Maybe it's just a rationalization by fans to counter the silliniess of a secret organization openly featuring its logo on its ships and outfits.

Miranda would not like to remain inactive I think. She'll try to do something on her own initiative. Well, I hope that she will. Having to pick her up on some backwater planet would be somewhat disappointing. Unless there's a Cerberus facility there.

Even without being a secret organization the sheer number of logos is beyond absurd.

I do hope that Miranda is a permanent squadmate in ME3, and a continuing love interest. Out of the 50+ runthroughs I have done, Miranda was my LI in all but about 4

Yeah, it really is irritating. As you said before, it's targetting liarmsncers more. <_<

I truly agree with you on the reason to have LOTSB.

THAT is the ONLY reason why I got LOTSB! Just that, the acknowledgement of MY <3for Miri. The feel of continuation after the SM, other than cuddling with Miri in my quarters.

No other reason exists.

They should have given us extra interactions with Miri.
Like more lines, bantering, and more conversations with Miri after the missions.

And for Arrival, you can't take Miri at all, it's a bloody solo mission.

But we all hope to see that change in ME3.

The logo is a symbol. There are Cerberus operatives that truly believe in "The Cause" as the novels call it. But there are also many more within Cerberus that are there simply to earn credits and kill some aliens; people like Pel.
The logo's purpose migth be to remind them of who they work for.

3 to 4, check the reply... and we should cut the LOtSB discussion unless it's explicitly related to Miranda which it can't be.
