[SUGGESTION] : Squad Armor Customization System

No it's just a suggestion.

Personally, I don't like the AAP2 armor for Miranda. So if this kind of system allow me to have her with her catsuit or a light armor in ME3, I approve.
But I'm not fan of the idea of choosing an outfit for the squadmates, I like the fact that every squadmate can have a unique style which fit their personality. I feel like it would be Shepard who impose what the squadmates should wear. <_<

And "she's got her issues but she trusts me." Less ego-stroking in future, please?

The hell?
The jealousy issues is ego-stroking. Grunt calling Shepard his Battlemaster is ego-stroking.
But this? By this logic, every romance scence is ego-stroking.
"Promise me you won't die."
"I care about you and I think you care about me"
"I got better Shepard, I got you"
"Thinking you were gone was like losing a limb"
Etc.

They are to a degree. I dislike it when romances are used to affirm player awesomeness.

Then you probably shouldn't play games. Though Shepard is hardly player's own character, since you can't affect how he is -that- much.

As said. I love the character development Miri has. The conversations, Romance, etc. And hopefully some of you do as well.:P

IMHO it all fits my perspective. IMHO Miri has the greatest and most interesting character development in ME. I love every moment.

From being strict and all business, to becoming softer, and caring, and still Bad-Ass. A romantic story IMHO.

And I love it when she tells TIM to ****** off in her own way, and Resigns.

I for one <3 this pic.

Yeah and some of us are fond of Miranda's romance and nobody complain when you say you don't like it.

You're not the only one who has the right to say what or who you don't like in the game.

This.

I really get annoyed everytime you post your very minor opinion as often as you do, but I just rotate the mouse wheel quickly to ignore you.

No offense.

^A must have

Well, lets go back to Miri, shall we? She will not approve seeing us argue.

What are your thoughts on the several scene we know that Miri will have? Do you hope Miri will have more? I certainly do.

I wonder about the scenes they have so far. Are they Romance, or just Cerberus related?

Unless she intends to do so in a catsuit, I'd say Shepard is the one who does all the cooking.

I love Miri in her Black "Cat Suit."

Now I'm not sure whether I should keep the armor or not.

Does she really need armor?

She doesn't really need it correct?

I really, really hate the romance bit in LOTSB. "You have no idea how much you've changed her." Blech.

It'd have been more acceptable if it was like "You've no idea how much she's changed", instead of making it sound like Shepard's got some sort of super influence over her, also we can argue that the change happens whether Shepard pursues a relationship with her or not... as if working with Shepard gave her a slightly different perspective on the galaxy but otherwise I think Miranda didn't change much and she shouldn't, we (most of us anyway) like her as she is right now specifically at the earlier parts of the game.

Also why complain about "She's got her her issues but she trusts me" when it's followed by "And I care about her", does it make her less perfect is she trusts Shepard? and everyone's got issues, Miranda included.

Mostly I'm worrying about character development going in the wrong direction. They could do worse than use (comics) Black Widow as a model. She can kill you in a dozen different ways, and can be mission focused, but she also had a boyfriend she loved very much and was her equal in combat.

Exactly. The problem is that the way this is said appears to turn Miranda into a puppet to be shaped by Shepard's awesomeness. That, not that she does change, I find disagreeable.

+1 as well, I think Miranda's character development is gonna make or break ME3 for me, I'd hate it if they turned Miranda's 'core' character around to favor all the paragons out there.

Yeah, and you can have romance while still allowing her a measure of independence as a character. DA, LOTSB Liara and the VS all do this well. A locker scene would help, as would some kind of dealbreaker--a decision even a romanced Miranda won't stand for.

The picture you posted showed her in her armor....

She doesn't need armor of the bulky N7 kind. But if you into combat, you wear something protective. It doesn't matter if it's a last resort and only protects from glancing hits. Above all things, you don't keep your vitals exposed, and clothing thin enough to look as if it was painted on the skin is definitely not protective enough. .

It is a matter of dressing for the occasion. You dress seductively if that's what you need - or want - for a specific occasion. For combat and commando stuff, you need something else. Above all, you need something inconspicuous not something that shouts "I'm a target. Shoot me".

Iconic outfits that fly in the face of plausbility are the territory of superhero comic books. Mass Effect shouldn't turn that way. ME2 was bad enough. I'm sure it's possible to find a compromise between attractiveness and usefulness.

What do you guys think Miranda's breaking point in ME3 is got to be like? (The writers' did confirm recently that at some points in the game if you make certain choices some of your squadmates will disagree with you and it might end in a mortal conflict)

I mostly imagine it as a choice happening middle game, you have a fleet with you and you must choose between saving a large human colony world with millions of humans from a reaper attack or save an alien homeworld like Thessia or Sur'Kesh with billions of aliens, I'd think Miranda would opt out for saving the human colony unless that explicitly puts the war effort with the reapers at a major disadvantage, my main Shepards is a pro-human renegon who would save the human colony in a heartbeat but some of my other Shepards might disagree, do you think such situation would instigate a conflict between Shepard and Miranda?

Mortal conflict, that does not sound good.

If this does happen, there better be some time of Paragon, or Renegade option that will resolve this.

I don't understand why BioWare would make a certain time that results in possibly losing your LI.

I think we can be tentatively optimistic here. There isn't any better candidate for a romance for the more Renegade-ish Shepards. Tali is Paragon, Ashley's a straight-and-by-the-book soldier, Jack's romance doesn't work if you use the Renegade options. Only Liara could work somewhat after her change in ME2. Miranda's romance also has the only viable Renegade path.
