They can fit during Lazarus (i.e. putting Shep back together) because it's a little implausible to imagine Miranda doing nothing for two years but putting Shep back together cell by cell. No doubt she does get downtime and the chance to relieve... herself... as it were.
And speaking of dating sites, most sites do have users upload pics. The idea that she's going in blind apart from medical history is ridiculous and does not apply.

And it is not necessarily tied with the pregnancy thing although the basis of accepting that last guy does make it very suggestive of such.

This shows that "Story Mission-Wise," ME2 is longer than ME1. I count the LMs AND the Romance with Miri as Parts of the Story.

There was no expectation that the trip through the Omega 4 relay would be anything other than a one way trip. As such, the notion that Miranda was trying to get pregnant seems a bit... odd. Why would someone try to get pregnant when there is a very high possibility that she, and her unborn child, would be killed? I don't think the Shadow Broker files on Miranda's infertility and her online 'dating' are linked.

Miranda's sexual liason with a man she had just met online was nothing more than what it appeared...a meeting for casual sex. I just see it as her blowing off some steam and trying to live life to the fullest a time when it might soon be ending for her.
