I know, I wanted to have both this one and still have the #FindMiranda banner, but both of them didn't look good.

Well, pretty much that people can take the conclusions that best suit them. However, I think that she was trying to get pregnant, I don't think her concern was only about STDs. In my opinion, she wanted medical records to make sure her partner didn't have any conditions like heart problem or a history of diabetes. I don't think she was looking for a partner for pure pleasure, though if she could achieve that, bonus points.

About the timeline, I believe it happened after the events of galaxy and before ME2. Shepard was being reconstructed and the Normandy wouldn't be ready over night, so building it would take time, the SR-2 designation was probably already established, that's why she used that.
