Man I just love this cosplay.

Yeah, I really like it, too. Also that other one that hot_heart posted some of the other day. Both are really cool.

A little reminder for the top, I guess...

Perhaps it would be best to continue this in PM.

It's unfair to the others here.

Right, the new draft is up! Thanks in advance, everyone.

I like it. The changes work really well, and the rest of it was already great.

Minor:

‘unsure whether I'm conveying indignation, or pleading.‘ – I assume you meant it exactly like ‘conveying indignation’ or ‘pleading’, right? I think the concept is throwing me off…It may be a little much for Miranda to express uncertainty between those two extremes, so the way you’re stating it makes it kind of sound like you might have meant ‘conveying indignation or pleading’…  Maybe if you made it from his perspective? She tries to project indignation but isn’t sure if it comes across as that. Hard to explain.

‘forehead, which I lazily’ – which refers to forehead here.

MADNESS!!

Madness for madness' sake.

The root cause is and always will be how poorly presented some of the content is and how it funnels back into how women are treated in fiction and how an audience reacts.

Ugly arguments. Ugly.

What Miranda wants changes from writer to writer. I don't see why it can't be a combination of all of the things.

A balanced combination mind you.

No, you're right. Ha! You have no idea how much that sentence was tripping me up, and I was unable to find a better way to phrase it. :P

The comma is simply there because I was imagining it without the indignation part, so it read a little funny to me as: conveying pleading. I'm sure there's a better word than 'pleading', but it eludes me ('or a plea for mercy' perhaps?) Otherwise, if you think losing the comma is OK, then that's fine with me.

Gah, you're right. That'll teach me to half-delete and combine sentences

Thanks again! Much appreciated.

‘Conveying indignation or [an] appeal’ maybe? ‘Pleading’ is a little tricky since it can easily parse as a verb, but it is correct if you leave the comma out.

Yeah, I see what you're saying. It's probably more to do with how it scans. Though it may be grammatically sound, it just doesn't read 'right'. Even with 'appeal', I'd want to put something after it.

Probably just me though...

Maybe if you qualify them further? ‘[adjective] indignation or [adjective] pleading/appeal’?

Edit: but at this point it’s probably overanalysis :P So, drop the comma and go with pleading or appeal.

It's good but she seems really young. Miranda in her early years perhaps?

By the way, is this the PinkFoxx one people have been talking about?

My bad then. Was confused because MEFan pointed at it. It's still good. It just seems like younger Miranda.

BTW, does anyone have an idea or headcannoned what Miranda does during the 6 months of Shepard incarceration ?

PinkFoxx's Cosplay is Fantastic. Plus she is from Australia, so with her Aussie Accent, the Cosplay is Perfect.

Other than constantly fighting the urge to break him out?

Staying alive would be my guess. I'd sure that she spent a lot of that time avoiding assassains and the like. All the while wondering what had happened to Shepard.

And when she heard he was alright she made sure to find him.

You do know accents don't come through on pictures right? Unless she made a video, her accent is irrelevant.

Has she published this by the way? I know it was in the works when the fanbook was being put together (speaking of which, flemm...?) but I hadn't heard anything about it since.
