Planning and gathering resources for the upcoming fight (you don't think that fighter squadron procured itself do you?) Dodging Cerberus as well.

I also believe she was planning on busting Shepard out if the Alliance twiddled their thumbs much longer. But then the Reapers hit and Shepard was out anyway. In the meantime Oriana went missing and she focused on that instead.

Anywho, avoiding Cerberus assasins for 6 months is still really a long time.

Problems? You mean problems greater than damn REAPERS murdering everyone?

No Miranda would've busted Shepard out sooner or later. The galaxy needs its champion, ****** politicians and Alliance brass be damned. That she didn't can be attributed to a) she was preparing but the Reapers hit and Shepard got out anyway and/or Oriana went missing and Miranda was sidetracked.

I'll leave it up to you to decide how close it had been.

I don't believe it's intended to be, in particular, but I do see what you mean.

As to the fanbook, this came up a little while ago also. My feeling at the moment regarding that is that I want to keep it on the back burner for a little while to see how things shake down post-EC. I'm progressing on it in my spare time meanwhile.

Basically, I feel like fans have pretty much told them in every which way imaginable that they would like more Miranda specifically, as well as generally wanting more time with characters. So... we'll see. The book gives us one more big thing we can do fairly easily in a little while if things aren't looking good.
