Hello All, been lurking a bit here on and off (friends with Yannkee & Rach (Asakawa) and maybe a few other regulars) and firstly, if this ain't the most active thread on BSN I don't know what is . Edit: there was a whole page of replies while I wrote this one

Just like to mention to @Babi re: Thane thread being depressing - not sure how all of you would be if Miri had been killed off in the first 1/3rd of ME3 regardless if she was your LI or not??

Not saying that Miri got anywhere enough time in ME3 (and I haven't even a Shepard that has romanced her, yet - he's some way through ME1 currently on hold) as she above all ME2 characters grew on me the most with her character development, even with FemShep. But yeah, you guys should be (and by the sounds of it you are) thankfull for the time she did get in ME3 compared to other (new in) ME2 characters.

OK, that's a long enough first post in the thread me thinks

PS - and yes, only been a Liara and Sam (ME3 only obviosuly) romancer so far, due to Miri not being available.

I've always wondered what she was doing.
It does work sometimes though and she does sit on his lap.

It's more of a nice easter egg than anything else.

It doesn't do anything.

Just some cuddle time. Nothing wrong with that.

This is what I always get. I've never had it work.

She just didn't want to sit on your Shepard's lap that's all.

She'd rather be over there in the corner in the default pose for chracter models.

Want to know why we're angry and hurt? Because we had an LI taken away from us with pure character assassination and everyone looks at us and goes "Serves you right for romancing the drell.".

Think about if Bioware had killed off Miranda in the exact same way. Shepard just stands and watchs as Leng slices Miranda clean in two. No interupt, no nothing, and she's never mentioned again. Then when we get angry about it, people say to us "Serves you right for romancing the Cerberus ****".

That's exactly how we feel.

You can be angry without taking your anger out on anyone. Were you around when they pretty much started hating on us simply because Tully joined the #FindMiranda group first and then criticized, rightfully so I might add, the Thanemancers attitude on the #SaveThane group?

Thane is the only LI I find worth of FemShepard (Liara is worth too, but there's something about tortured men that I can't stay away). I always romance him and I didn't find his death to be something outrageous. Thane mentions he's dying, changing that would cheapen the game. I hate, however, how his death was portrayed, or how if romanced FemShep only gets a makeout scene in a hospital and has one extra dialogue on the bed scene. He was poorly portrayed and I hate that, but now he's dead, time to move on. Hate on the writers instead of hating everyone else.

Edit: Lance, I'm sorry, it's not your fault about our past feud with the Thanemancers.

At least on that, we know it'll never happen. Though it is something that would fall under Walters' capacity, we all know he'll never write a whole DLC for Miranda.
