Um I was referring to a Shepard who romanced Liara and Miranda.

Edit: MisterJB, are you entirely sure it was his heart he was thinking with?

Maybe you want your shep to suffer but I do not want to.:?

She's talking about one of my Shepards, who cheated on Liara with Miranda and then cheated on Miranda with Liara.
Poor guy, he's just not very wise. Lets his heart do most of the thinking for him.

Ahem...I think it's something other than his heart that is doing his thinking Posted Image

Well, that's a consequence that  particular shep has to take lol. :P

Saving the colony Oriana is on or sacrificing it for strategic advantage? That's a toughy. I'd probably go with Miranda's judgement call on that to be honest.

Will be curious how such choices will play out. Will it really be choosing one side or the other with no way around it? Will it come down to

Geth or Quarians?
Turians or Asari?
Salarians or Krogans?

And maybe something like for Miranda - save Oriana or getting something critically valuable on the Reapers from Cereberus?

Didn't they say that you had to find a way to unite ALL races?

I don't really know what to do when it comes to Oriana. Oriana is the only family Miri has.

Anyway, I'm having fun creating a romantic interest for Miranda. Never let it be said that I'm not interested in her romantic side. It's even a Shepard.

Well, he also slept with the Consort and Jack and suggested a threesome back in ME1.
Now I'm working on a save where he chooses Morinth and she kills him after the SM. It seems like a fitting end for him.

I doubt it will come down to that. We're trying to unite the Krogans with the Turians in that ME3 demo. But if we do have to choose between the Geth and the Quarians, I'm choosing the Geth (but there will probably be way to make peace between them).  But Saving Oriana or saving a colony would be an interesting choice. I'm sure Miri will understand if we chose the Colony.

I didn't. I stayed loyal to Miri.

Even though in the story, Miri doesn't know I exists.:(

I played ME2 first.

There's only so much blood in the human body!

I think Miranda would choose the greater good and spend the rest of the war going ob increasing suicidal missions or retreat into her shell so far that she'd never get out.

And I think you need some anti-depressents.

Shepard is the one taking charge in the war. The burden of responsibilty falls on him and he handles it like a pro.

Miranda is just as tough as he is.

Unless something happens to Oriana. Then I might agree with you.

as much as i dislike even acknowledging you - then you are a complete tool: you can't stay loyal to someone before you even meet them.. let alone missing out on a sidequest with interesting revelations on the protheans as a result.

Um, Lux. That's what I said. Having to sacrifice Oriana would break her.

Nope. I'm not a tool. I'm a Mirimancer. When going to play ME1, I didn't want anything to do with the characters in me1 in that way, the same goes for the other li's in me2.

I know it is 2 different teams but given the way Dragon Age 2 went with Hawke going thru some terrible things, some of which the player had no control over or came right out of the blue...

It is going to be quite the balancing act to save everyone one cares about. OK some may only care about Shep and their LI but for some the other squadmates/friends, other races/planets etc...tall order

I didn't with most of my Shepards. You don't actually have to sleep with her in order to get the key for the Prothean orb.

*makes cheap remark about orbs*

Will be curious about any prospective story related DLC for ME3.  Especially as it is the conclusion and everything Bioware has to juggle with
