Well, I think everybody would like more. I certainly would. Hell, I'd have preferred that Miranda be the star of the game again.

Having said that, there is enough content that we really should have been able to see a more balanced portrayal than we did. As it stands, I hope that additional content will provide that.

QFT. Yep there's plenty enough content for there to have been a more balanced portrayal.

Al they needed to fix her character was less than 10 lines from her on Cronos. Just the enough to give her a closure with Cerberus.

The no confrontation with TIM, no real confrontation with her father is just depressing.

Miranda doesn't need an another writer. She only needs a bigger place in the game, so we can see everything that makes her the the character so many people likes.

Well, her writer (Jay Watamaniuk) was moved to SWTOR team according to Dr Doctor. :P

yeah ..
I hope she will have a more interesting job there.

I won't balme her for her work on Miranda, considering Miranda limited role and time in the game she couldn't work a miracle.

Yes well if you can't make peace between them, Miranda doesn't really come off that well from that confrontation either, particularly if you side with Jack.

"What's that, you were just placating the seemingly rampaging psychotic, cunningly appearing to agree with her just so she'd calm down? Nope not good enough, stonewalled FOREVER!"

The less said about it I think, the better.

I agree with that. Neither character is entirely in the right there. But... neither is entirely in the wrong either.

this was something i did for Mel (left), Yannkee (middle) and myself (right), if we were mass effect universe characters.

You don't even have a weapon. Clearly, you are supposed to be a novaspamguard. :P

We didn't have nova back then, but yeah XD CHAAAAAARGE! And I do have a geth plasma shotgun behind me haha

Is said catsuit really viable though?

I mean your're going to be up close and everything. That suit won't protect you from a Krogan charging.

Or is this a special catsuit? =]

Absolutely, and I blame her writer for the imbalance. Her absence from Cerberus HQ is a design decision, but the flaws in the existing content are the writer's. What I'm seeing is the attempt to make her a good mainstream stereotypical female figure. Perhaps it was by design, perhaps the writer just didn't know any better, but the result speaks for itself.

I expect more self-restraint from her than Jack in ME2 because Jack has deeper scars and is less socialized. I expect her to lash out. Miranda has better control.

Also, Miranda is the freaking XO of the group that tortured her.

If you're the executive officer of something, you have to be prepared to accept responsibility for it's actions. You can't just be all "it went rogue" and wash your hands of it. That's insane.

Well, Miranda doesn't really lash out until she feels directly threatened. But... I don't think it's really surprising that she would have little patience for Jack at that point. Jack has never been respectful of her, and Miranda herself is no doubt troubled by what she saw at the facility.

Miranda could have handled it better, but... it's a realistic mistake on her part, I think. I prefer to neutralise the dispute via persuade options.

They handeled a lot of that poorly actually.

Miranda seems to be unaware of a lot of things Cerberus is doing.

Take her on the Collector Ship Mission and see what she has to say.

Mind boggling. Mind boggling.

She doesn't wash her hands of it. She just refuses to cave in when she is threatened. Which there is really no reason for her to do.

Yep would have been so easy to work round the game design excluding her from Cerberus HQ and i'll forever wonder if it was lack of thought, orders from above or deliberate attempt to shift the character to fit their tragic death scenario.

She doesn't believe that what happened there defines the organisation. That is her view throughout the game. She can be wrong about that, but she never believed that Cerberus was defined by that type of behavior. So, it makes no sense for her to back down on that point simply because she is being threatened.

In the game she can help destroy that facility and/or approves of so doing.

It hadn't been for some time.

The facility had been rouge for years.

TIM didn't approve of what was going on there. He only disapproved of you blowing it to ****.

That's not what she's saying.  If she was saying that's not what Cerberus stands for, that would be one thing.  She's saying the facility went rogue, and thus doesn't count as Cerberus.  That it's not really cerberus' fault.

Which is such a childish dodge of responsibility.  Someone needs to explain institutional control to her...

IF they included a Cerberus Arc DLC, written by say...Patrick Weekes  I think a lot of us would be okay with that.

She couldn't possibly talk about one thing for three hours there.

I think we'd be more than ok :P

Yeah sorry while i fully accept Miranda could have kept her cool it is quite obvious to me that jack bears more of the blame. She's the one that deliberately set out to provoke a fight because she's unhappy all the evidence suggests Teltin facility went rogue. She wants to lash out at someone in authority in Cerberus.

Ooh, neat, the “Cerberus is composed of cells so all those verified and widely publicized cases of their terrorist activities don’t count” argument.

Miranda knew. Maybe not details, but she knew.
