I like the idea of tweet rounds, though we can't spam the devs. However, I've been tweeting for a while now, I know that dtrain has as well and so far no response to anyone asking about Miranda and the devs do reply to other people, so maybe that's a sign to let it go. I have no hope for more content.

Mr Buskell will talk to me.

I helped him get the camera he filmed his wedding with and he's always responded to me.

I'll see what I can do.

No worries there. I promise not to spam Posted Image

I don't really expect them to reply by saying that more content is being made. Though, if someone does get a response like that, please do let me know Posted Image

My actual thoughts are not suitable for public consumption. But this ethos surrounding Miranda's role--that normalcy is good and exception is evil--poisons even the good. She's offensive in how small, weak, and petty she is. She needs to be fixed. I have no hope of content, but the way she's been dismantled...*froths*

Found this back in the first pages of the thread (even before ME3 was released!) and I just wanted to say once more how great Miranda looks in a battle armor. I'm in the process of re-evaluating her as a powerful woman (my love for Jack made me see her merely as a "Cerberus cheerleader", but I'm working on it) and her battle armor surely helps a lot.

So, viva Miranda!

Not a response about more content, but at least acknowledging us. I hope I don't make it to BioWare's blacklist though, Yesika tweeted how upset she was that BW was denied to the NY Comic Con and I replied to her, and to BioWare, that ME3 was crap and that the convention made the right decison.

Didn't get that vibe. There is no normal. That's a societal constraint.

She will always be exceptional at many things.

A small, petty and weak person could not have gotten as far as she did. At no point does she really fail in the task she set out to do. She always gets the job done.

The difference is is that she can die easier now. At the end of the day that's what ultimately makes her the same as the rest of us.

At the end of the day it doesn't matter how smart you are or how good you look. You will die. She's not invincible.

She's human, just like the rest of us.

I have to agree with you on that, with a war going and Ori being her only concern showed how selfish and petty the writers mde her. I have no hope anymore as well, if we get more character content it will be about the ME3 squads.

Does anyone actually know what defines who puts your plate on the memorial ?

I really want it to be Garrus.......for symbolism

yet it's always the VS that does it for me. Well at least it wasn't Liara.

It's the squadmate that has the highest approval rating. If you talk to Garrus the most and bring him on the most missions he should put it up.

Liara wasn't even there for one the scenes for me. Neither was Javik.

It also depends on who you take to the beam rush. Every time I take Garrus, Liara is in every scene. The one time I took Liara, Garrus was in the scenes.

The Oriana thing was pretty bad though. She had two things on her mind. One if she wasn't romanced.

Everything else is still there it just didn't surface. The content DOES exist, it's just in texts and iPhone apps.

You can fix that. Whether or not it will happen remains to be seen.

Of course that's there, but it's hidden under what the writers wrote (which didn't suite Miranda for ME3), so I have to agree with jtav. I don't know if writing her in a somewhat familar role has to do with "new fans" joining up so late, but I wouldn't doubt it, nor cutting corners either, since you can argue that for a lot of characters. They really had something special going with ME2 and of course ME1, but they were leaving room for ME3, but that was understandable.

It can be fixed, yeah. I try not to be too up and down about it. This whole endings fiasco has really overshadowed everything for a while. Leviathan is still focusing on that, really. So... we'll see.

That's how Bioware wants you to think.

Fight it. Don't let them gain control. We don't need anymore EDI or Vega or Liara content.

In all seriousness, I lol'd when Jessica Merizan was like, "we know the fans were expecting different, but ME3 was the perfect time to experiment and try new idea's out for the series! And they've turned out great! Don't get too attached to the plot."

They want to focus on the ME3 team. For some reason, they think that sells.

Merizan said that in a post about Harbinger returning.

It's more than just them 'trying to stick to their guns' for ME3. A lot of them genuinely believe ME3 is perfect.

You can't blame the character. Miranda is a non existent entity. Everything that happened to her was the result of a new writer.

The character is still there, it just doesn't show up. You make it sound like a retcon sometimes.

There simply isn't any content showing that part of her. That's why a DLC could fix the issue.

I'm not, I'm blaming the writers. I know Miranda has a lot more potentional, compared to her focusing just on her sister... again - but I hate the idea that all these fixes really have to be through DLC. This should be in the game itself, as with other characters, maybe even future patches or free content that addresses these issues, that would be my ideal solution, but hey, if there's money to be made in upcoming DLC that addresses these issues, I see fans buying them, but I don't agree with it.

We don't know the exact circumstances around everything. I've picked up a few things here and there and it doesn't paint a pretty picture.

But there isn't much we can do about it. We know that she's still out being Miranda we just don't know in what capacity.

All Bioware really did was use a chracter trait to finish her arc. They chose the easiest one possible. They did that with a lot of ME2 characters.

I don't mind paying for DLC so as long as it's good. I wouldn't mind paying for Miranda DLC as well. We don't live in a world where things are given gratis. You have to pay for them, even things you should already have.

I don't blame the writer because there was almost nothing to write for Miranda in ME3.
The few content in ME3 is good quality (I wouldn't have made a video if it wasn't), but it barely represents 10% of what was necessary for the character.
