I'm honestly stuck on this scene with Oriana and Miranda in my fic. What the frell would they talk about heh. (and I on purpose renamed Oriana, Orianna in my fic. :-P)

Miranda is not being herself... and is in Shepards room resting after a "secretive" operation only Mordin, Shepard and Dr. Chakwas knows about. Oriana is clueless so far but knows something isn't right.

Maybe I should just go to bed and sleep. Hmm...

I'm always up late so I can sit and give you terrible ideas all night. I already gave hot_heart three paragraphs of feedback earlier so if you really want some I have time.

A splash of cold water is a dick move though.

Maybe shift the bed with her biotics? I honestly don't know.

I read hot_heart's piece on Henry Lawson. I thought it was really good. He seemed very in character and wasn't to mean.

^ Yes that's the one. He wasn't sure if it was long enough to give him a lot of feedback. It was so good I typed three paragraphs for him.

His sentence structure is what stood out to me. He writes magnificently.

A pity we didn't see more of Henry or hear about him from Miranda.

I would imagine that will happen sometime after the war though. Her telling him about her father in more detail.

I've introduced two new original characters of mine into this chapter. We get to visit a new location. yay :-) I'm also attempting to rework on my interpretation of mr. lawson (before who really knew of him... and really the lack of who he really is...) I'm keeping him an evil scientist making his own creations... heh. I doubt it's anything original. We've all discussed the topic of him before though.

Well, if you want to change Henry, you can keep him in continuity by explaining any later change as the result of indoctrination. Just like how TIM went from semi-fascist idealist to mustache twirling villain...

Whuh oh. The "F" word doesn't fly well in here krukow. TIM is a Nationalist. This is stated in the codex. Although...

As for Mr. Lawson he really won't be that complex. He's a rich man with a case of narcissim. He grows girls and disposes of them if they don't meet his specifications. Although that part might not be entirely public. I'm sure he looks good to a lot of people. That's something to consider.

We're also never told how he makes his money. That might be something interesting to explore as well.

Well, my interpretation was that he was a wealthy businessman... he dabbled in research and scientific fields, which is why he was rich.  I have him associated with Eldfell/Ashland in some fashion because well are they not the richest company??? He's a bit domineering and wants everything his way. He's in control. People fear him. I don't want to spoil future chapters but he does do work for several companies and so forth.  So he's in demand for his 'knowledge'.

In ME3... he seemed hmm... all words and no backbone? Not sure how to explain him in ME3. He clearly hates Miranda and would kill her without hesitation. So, yeah, I don't think he loves anyone but himself.

Sorry, TIM wasn't a fascist, it was just a quick word I picked. I just meant he went from something at least defensible to "mwuahahahahaha, I'm evil! EVIL!!!!"

And enaya, that's really who Henry is at the end of the day. A selfish man who cares only for himself and has no real backbone. Any man who would treat a child like that is not someone I would look kindly upon.

That's an interesting idea.  He'd have to have known she couldn't have them or she left before he could *test* that theory with other means. eek.

So what you're saying is he'd use that to tease Miranda back into his domain?  But in reality she took her instead from him and it backfired on him.
