Awesome. I'm pretty sure it has already received a good amount of hate from BSNers though. Maybe because there are 20 seconds of EDI, or because it does not say "THE ENDING WERE S**T AND BIOWARE WILL BURN IN HELL".

I don't think Chuck was ever really 'great' but it's an enjoyable enough watch, mainly because of the chemistry of the stars. You definitely need to turn your brain off, but that doesn't make it bad. Not every show has to be The Wire.

I never really noticed a decline in the series (except maybe when they had to drag out the second half of S4), partly because Sarah had been brought into comedic roles, I think. And I'm man enough (or not man enough?) to admit certain parts had me tearing up.

I am OK with the ending too, because I think it's pretty much implied what happens or left for you to imagine it (I believe they even cut out a scene that would've cemented it), and the whole situation was genuinely very touching.

Or maybe because people are legitimately upset and don’t want to further reward for it? Either way, maybe ending bashing and ending bashing-bashing over in Story & Meh forum?

I liked season 4. Timothy Dalton and Linda Hamilton were excellent, there are some of the best episodes (including the famous Chuck vs Phase three), and a good ending (which should have been the end of the show).

I remember how happy I was when Chuck and Sarah finally got together.

It was mindless, but there were also some brutal and shocking moments. 

As I said, it is campy as hell and has a very cartoony feel to it, yet is also mature and well crafted, especially in the earlier seasons.

The end was ambiguous in a good way, we're left wondering whether Chuck's kiss got Sarah her memories back, or if she has to fall in love with him all over again.

Guess horses for courses as series 4 was where i fell out of love with the series. Chuck acted like a brat and Sarah had to change everything about herself. Glad i didn''t watch the 5th season and that ending.

I don't watch television for the most part. No real interest. No real interest in Chuck either. Looking at the new trailer from my phone I'm excited for next week. Gamble said they made it with the EC in mind. New things. Will we be getting a slide of Leviathan? Wishful thinking most likely.

You'd have to know the show to understand it, really. But I will attempt to explain...

Chuck has some revolutionary CIA database thing downloaded into his brain, and certain stimuli (a name, a building, a picture, etc.) will trigger a 'flash' as the information forms useable intel. When he 'flashes' he pulls a weird face that looks like he 'saw something really bright and tasted something really sour at the same time'.

When Sarah is trying to convince him to fake that, so they can follow some other lead, he is under the impression that the 'flash' is a pouty, sexy, smoldering look. Keep in mind, this is the fourth season by now. There, she is demonstrating what it really looks like.

It is a little bit of everything, which is why the show had such a difficult time gaining traction with a large audience.

I think it balances all of them very well. But it isn't for everybody.

Better that way. Although I saw some clear attempts at TRYING to make it more marketable. It failed. Fascinating that it failed in that regard. Silly though.
