But will you really care? I won't. It's a deleted scene that somehow made it into the film to me.

If you're already set on your ending I don't think this will change much.

The reverse is also possible. If this thing looks like it went through a meat grinder people are going to use that against Synthesis. You know that.

Pretty sure people will use it anyway…

I think I’d rather see an Aria + Garrus (+ Liara) Omega, and then a separate Jack + Miranda DLC dealing with Cerberus instead.

I dunno. I mean, I see the basic logic, but there's also the reverse of demonstrating which areas of the Mass Effect games we'd rather see. BioWare have claimed that they have some big DLC plan (to last a year, I believe) and they might be able to gauge what people want after this one.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry too much about it either way.

They are still in the "clarifying the endings" portion of this. The SP DLC they had originally planned will start showing up after that. Some of it has no doubt already been produced, or is in production. So they will be selling it to recuperate their investment.

Overall SP DLC support for this game will eventually be affected if sales are bad, but, as you say, if Leviathan sales aren't great, but Omega sales are excellent, that is probably not a bad message to send.

^ Gauge what people want? I can only dream. There has been some demand for Jack/Miranda DLC. What fun that would be!

Also, OT, Neil Armstrong has passed away.

Gets me nostalgic. I watched the moon landing on TV when I was a child. It was the reason for my persisting interest in SF and space travel, which has never waned. Without Neil Armstrong, likely I wouldn't be here now. R.I.P.

but there's something regarding the hair animation that is just not quite right. And that really gets me.

Her hair in ME3 has the same exact problems as it does in ME2. When she turns her head, her hair doesn't naturally flow in that direction, it stays glued to her head in the same exact position. It's really noticeable and strange looking, especially on the Xbox where there isn't any anti-aliasing.

Then again, this strikes everybody who has long hair in-game.

"Some" demand is putting it lightly.

Reached ME2 in my replay of my main maleShep. Good to do missions with Miranda again, but it brings home how much was lost by her sidelining in ME3. The comments she'd have made on certain missions would have been a nice counterpoint to the unified voice of the ME3 team. Excepting Javik of course, but he's DLC and doesn't count.

I wonder how Miranda would've gotten along with Javik. I can see a complex relationship there.

I think she'd be fascinated by him, maybe find his humour actually funny.

I think they'd somehow get along pretty good

Javik: Are you not synthetic?

Miranda: No.

J: But you were created artificially? You were not borne from the coupling of parent figures?

M: It's true that my father created me by himself, but I am not synthetic.

*Later*

J: Commander, I recommend you restrict the human female's living quarters to the airlock. She appears to be a synthetic who thinks it isn't.

I'd make Shepard himself shoot Javik if it was possible. Too bad Liara didn't get the chance to finish Javik.

Agree 100% on this. I miss ME2 varied team.
Think her and Javik would have got along well.

:lol::lol:
I've commented on Miranda's synthetic-compatible attributes in my Synthesis thread as a reason why I reject Javik's definition. I can hear him saying something like that.

But I also think they'd eventually get along nicely.

This is going to sound weird, but am I the only one that likes the romance precisely because of the casual tone? As long as the path where you dump her is ignored, she plays things pretty low-key, which means I don't feel like I'm under a lot of pressure.

I like it because of the playfulness, but also because it is kept a bit 'private' (engine room scene notwithstanding...)

I mean, if there were any dialogue moments like the Tali romance stuff on the geth dreadnought, I would probably cringe. Not that it's bad or anything; just not for me, thanks.

I like it too. You notice she's serious under all the playfulness, but she never makes it feel like the world would end without Shepard at her side, which makes it doubly weird that she dies if you break up with her. I won't forgive the writers that she's singled out for such treatment, even more since it's out of character.

I can do something about that.

It's the year of the Scavenger and the Season of the *itch!

What it really means is that I found a remastered version of David Bowie's Diamond Dogs and I'm pretty excited.

I also need to use my very loud mouth to announce something. Nothing big, but something that would mean a lot to someone in this thread. Give me a moment.

I was asked to use my loud mouth to advertise this.

This is a fan fiction comic that Mr. Massakka and Aliqaiser have been working on for some time.

It involves our favorite lady of course. She's in charge of a mission and is using her lover's methods to get it done. This takes place between ME2 and ME2.

If you could drop by and make some comments it would help them a lot.

Anybody know if it's possible to start a new game but Gibb variables so Miranda survives?
