Given all they've been through in their lives?  Yes, I could see it.  I could totally see Shepard wanting to be done with fighting and just be a person, and I could totally see Miranda wanting to be a normal person for the first time in her life.

Even the smartest of people eventually want the simple things of life.  Even the toughest soldier eventually tires of the gun.

And I just included Oriana because it fit the formatting of my Ash post and because obviously they wouldn't write her out of their lives...

Indeed. I would've liked her on the Normandy, but I think the idea of her having her own parallel story arc is a very good one. If only it wasn't just about her sister (and it needed to be about more from the start) but connected to the larger Cerberus plot, and if she'd been on Cronos Station I'd probably have been happy with the result. Very true, especially the last part. They could have even done some topical things to make her seem like something other than Shepard and Oriana were on her mind.

An observation:
People here shouldn't be so fast in calling newcomers to this thread stupid, especially if it is not warranted. Disagreement is not stupid. I think we've given an abysmal first impression, and I do not like that.

Need to confess my obssesion with Miranda just grows bigger. I watched "I promise" about 25 times this month and cannot get enough.  And when i'd showed this video to my girlfriend (she did not knew anything about mass effect universe so i needed to make a brief introduction) she says "What a romance"! Now with dumb slogan "Need more miranda? Play ME2!", which i doing right now:) . Of course i wil be playing Levaithan DLC soon, but this can not replace for me my beloved miss Lawson. eh...
