I've been wracking my brains about that for months. How do you write those entities? How distanced do the remain. I think they would keep some distance and not become involved in everyday politics as a rule, with exceptions. As for what to call them, I've been playing with Legion's term.Cmdr. No, but let me give you an example from the chapter I'm working on.
Shepard is reading an article about the "virtual aliens" from CDN and geeking out. He's also brainstorming ways to interface with them safely. He gets called away, and Miranda has corrected one of his equations by the time he gets back. That's the kind of future I see.
What will you call the pacified Reapers? Would be interesting to see them becoming involved in the galactic world in synthesis...

Seriously after all that in the games all I wanted to do was sit in a rocking chair, drink a beer, smoke a cigar and look at the stars and I wasn't even actually living the stuff. My Shep had to be more exhausted than I was.
I think that would be a realistic immediate future for those post-Ending Shepards who don’t have to deal with all kinds of problems remaining.
Still, I really don’t see it lasting for longer than a year or two on the outside. Shepard is a person of action. Miranda maybe even moreso.
Edit: that’s kind of Miranda’s problem in Unity currently; she’s got no clear mission so she’s kind of lost…until she finds one, anyway.
Does that include Miranda yelling at Shepard during work ?Taboo-XX wrote...

Some of us are working on a new group that the two of them can form. Sans the terrorism against civilians mind you.
That way they can both be active and be together at the same time.
We even have a name.

The problem I have with the Phoenix stuff is that it sounds close to some elements of Jack's past with Teltin. Or at least the details are a bit vague, so you're wondering from where exactly these 'upgrades' that 'dramatically improve biotic and combat skills' came. And that those troops are a 'result of the Illusive Man's early experiments in enhanced human physiology'.

You know it. I wouldn't have it any other way for my canon.
And about that name...
I'm sure I can sneak in a reference to something I want in there too in terms of rankings...

Though that might make for an interesting angle in my story. Jack's leading young biotics, Miranda's leading...a bunch of Jacks.
True. I'm probably just overthinking BioWare's way of saying 'these guys are tougher than those other Cerberus troops, and you can play as them!'flemm wrote...
Well, it would just mean that there were Cerberus cells who accomplished certain things without the type of treatment of subjects that occured at Teltin. Sort of like Lazarus accomplished a lot without that type of atrocity.
So, it would be similar in a sense, but different where it counts.

Hard to be mirimancer this days..I saw a poll on one of our russian fan forums about ME3 LI. So results were (from 145 respondents) as follows:
Liara -46 %, Tali - 23%, Garrus - 19%, Ash - 17%, Miranda -9%(i ignore the rest). I was shocked by the number. This results shows what Bioware did with character.
Not just a Mirimancer either. Rather, a fan of anyone who isn't Liara, the VS, or a Dextro.
Looks like we're the lepers of Mass Effect 3 romances.
"You like Miranda, Thane, Jack, etc.?"
"WELL TOO BAD."
Well on the other hand, being a fan of Liara, the VS, or a Dextro brings you tons of hate, sarcasm and witty remarks everytime you start a thread on these boards. So don't worry Mirimancers, the BSN provide the right amount of problems for everyone who is just a fan of the series.

Really, I'm ashamed of how you're treating the new guy.
As for Shep/Miranda being "just a man and a woman" no thanks. My Shep likes being exceptional and he's always going to be striving for the next challenge. I don't want settled-down domesticity. Marriage? Certainly. Children? Eventually. But there's a big world out there and discoveries to be made. I want that.

No you don't.

Actually, isn’t there a mention about the ‘research’ that was done leading up to Lazarus that wasn’t quite, you know, humane?

Other characters get more hate than Miranda.
We get more content, obviously, but we get plenty of hate.
