Actually, isn’t there a mention about the ‘research’ that was done leading up to Lazarus that wasn’t quite, you know, humane?

What lines are you referring to?

It’s an offhand remark, almost…but I’m not sure if I’ve just mixed in some fanfic. That’s always possible.

(Not that I have any problems believing it…the basic research had to come from somewhere.)

I've never seen such. Be nice if it were true.

It's a reference to Chuck.

Really, I'm ashamed of how you're treating the new guy.

These new guys, they don't got no respect for the old ways.:bandit:

And about that name...

While I appreciate the symbolism as much as anyone I still do not agree with use of this name or any other from mythology.

Too ostentatious. And maintaining the mythological motif is already too much continuity to Cerberus.

Perhaps the biggest mistake I attribute to Cerberus is their utter inability to stop being the Highly Visible Covert Agency.

I'd expect the new agency to be totally innocuous and completely invisible to any that aren't in it. As such, the name should be bland, vague and preferably forgettable. Even internally it should inspire no romantic patriotism in its members. Servicable and efficient, that's the key.

Wow, looks like I missed a lot of pages. Glad to see the troll David is gone, although he's a troll, so he'll probably just come back, best not to feed him anymore. As for people being ashamed for how the new guy was being treated, I guess you guys didn't read all of his posts, right? He shows up here with the only intent of causing flame and the people that were posting at the time should have welcomed him with open arms?

Here's a Miri pic because I really didn't add anything to this thread:

Liked the painting, but the Pamela Anderson breasts were unecessary.

I did read all his posts and he was hardly a troll. While his views on squadmates were a tad strange, they were hardly provocative to anger.

Unlike Ventus' responses, which are inciting attacks more often than not. Everyone else just seemed to have jumped on the bandwagon for harping on the guy.

At the end of the day it'd be a pity if we come across as a thread of douchebags, simply because some of us got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning and others are just trying to side with the cool kids.

I actually didn't read that part of the thread, so I can't really comment, but I agree with this as a general sentiment.

Yeah, probably ;)

But I do like it, thanks for posting.

I don't think so.  He may have had a dissenting opinion to much of this thread, but nothing I read was particularly malicious or aggressive.

Maybe not, but Ventus said he acts like a troll in other threads as well. I believe him.

But we should get off the topic. This is probably what he wanted.

You know, my profile is public. You're free to take a look at responses I've posted in other threads as well as threads I've started myself. Just keep the context in mind.

I'm working my way through ME2 and it's terribly melancholy. The fish are swimming, my model ship collection is growing, Miranda is speaking with Ori--and every mission brings me closer to Miranda's derailment and Shep's death. I need a pick-me-up. Convince me that the lady's worth it. Please.
