@mefan

Cause they either be trolling, or haters, or just plain odd. I mean, Miri vs me?

I'd surrender in a heartbeat.

Me too. I would let her kill me. I wouldn't want to end up carrying Miri's lifeless body......oh god....:crying::crying::crying::crying:

The thought of it is heartbreaking:crying::crying::crying::crying:

What if Miri dies, and there's nothing we can do to stop it? I hope not.

I wouldn't want to carry Miri's lifeless body. I would be crying for months.:crying::crying::crying::crying:

Even the thought of it is...heartbreaking.:crying::crying::crying::crying:

Miranda turning on you is possible, though not terribly likely. There is Oriana to consider, as well as indoctrination. I'd prefer any villainy on her part by by her own choice and not blackmail. Far more likely is that she made some mistake with Lazarus that's going to come out.

What the hell. You're making me worry a lot.:(

Why the hell like that, Especially for people who has her as an LI, like me?:crying::crying::crying::crying:

Does Bioware think that it would be funny to just do this to an LI. That would be awful. But they obviously don't care. Cuz hardly any of them like Miri, how typical. :crying::crying::crying::crying:

Really? I would love to see Miranda drunk. That ought to have interesting results.
Someone much more creative than me should write some banter between her and the rest of the team.

Bioware listen to its fans. They migth even listen a bit too much. That's how we ended up with the AAP2 and romanceable Garrus and Tali.
No offence is meant to anyone, the above mentioned it's just my personal opinion.

And some of us really like that armor...

As I said, I don't think Miranda will turn on you. Liara makes a bit more sense if they want to reuse that arc from KOTOR/NWN (please God no). But I think she's hiding something.

I'm not sure if I want to get that Alternate Appearance Pack 2 or not. I would like to see Miri in that Armor (Battle Only). My only problem is the Visor, It covers her Beautiful Eyes. :(

What should I do?:(

We've discussed at some length the possibility of Miranda/FemShep. I believe the nays were pretty decisive. But do you know what I want? The opportunity to broach the subject even if it mean rejection. I have this uncouth Renegade who's desperately in love with her, and is trying (badly) to make her happy. I know I know, flip the gender. But the in-game romance lacks that certain OTT romanticism I want.

hmm interesting guys I was looking at casey's twitter and a user asked casey if the devs could implement marrying a squadmate in ME3. Of course he said anything involving love interests in the game would be spoilers...but that would be awesome man!!! I'd marry Miranda in heartbeat!!!! Image IPBImage IPBImage IPB

Orly? Who is 'we'? I don't remember that coming up in this thread. That being the case 'at length' seems as bit presumptuous.

I certainly wouldn't object. Hell, a 3some with her and Liara would be cool.

Just making my customary presence felt on the newish thread.

As much as I like Miranda, I have to say that if it had to come down to between her and me I'd pick me every time... if only because I think it's kinda pragmatic to want to survive.

I'll pass. As nice at it is, there isn't a place I go where that wouldn't be embarrassing to wear.

I'm a little concerned now, about the VS. Kaidan is alive in my story
(sorry i just thought he was a better character than ashley).

But why would the VS have something to do with Miri being a Permanent Squadmate and LI?
Do I have to have ashley in order to have Miri in My Squad?

Personally, I think its a load of crap. Because it's like
ashley is there so Miri can there, but only for a purpose to have a conflict.

It's like you are forced to have a certain character you don't want,
only to have Miri for the purpose of a damn LI conflict.

What about those who will not have a conflict and whose VS is Kaidan?

Am I screwed now? I do not want to have ashley. Why should the VS matter?

I'm worried even more now.:crying::crying::crying::crying:

So would you accept a scenario where Miranda's role depends on whether she's an Li?

As I've said before, I would only accept that if it didn't mean that Miranda would be more important on the Galactic Stage had she not been romanced. That would be Shepard dragging her down and there's nothing I want less.

This. In that case, she'd stay unromanced in almost all my games, and I'll just imagine a romance starting up after ME3.

I'd prefer if her role didn't depend on her being an LI at all, but rather on plot-relevant decisions I make in the game or have made in ME2. Things like having done her LM for instance.

I use to think that way, but you would be shocked at who plays video games.

I'm not exactly fanatical, but I do have a few gamer shirts laying around.

edit: 2am cant spell.

For example, do you think Wrex or Liara would have the roles they have now had they joined Shepard's crew?

Ok in reality what role would Miri have on the Galatic Stage? By this i mean her plot importance imo is in relation to cerberus so say for example her temp mission is related to understanding Cerberus's reason's for working for the reapers and that's it, Without her you can still do this but with her its easier or something. I was going to say her role would be to help Shepard take down cerberus (but i doubt that'll happen until nearer the end of the game) and i''d like to see her way before then.

But unlike say Wrex, Miranda really shouldn't have a huge galatic role to play, she won't unite any species or bring allies to your side so galatically not as important but plot relevance more so (the cerberus thing again) i hope that makes sense.

Her main contribution would be information, technology and coordination. For instance this: after taking over Cerberus, she uses the resources they got from the Collector base to develop a protective measure against indoctrination (that's something she could get really famous over). Cerberus databases could give her the locations of several important Reaper bases. She might uncover plots by important people who have been secretly indoctrinated (one of them might conveniently be her father).

As befits an operative, it would mostsly not be a very visible role, but a crucial one nonetheless.

Other suggestions are welcome.

What i meant regarding the role Miranda would play changing if romance was this, She plays the same role in everyones game in terms of actual plotline but the difference being if romanced she gets a reason to become a permanent squadmember.

So non romanced Miranda, plot important temp role.

Romanced Miranda, plot important permanent role.

That would be acceptable

Lot of romances, which equals lots of variables. I don't think romance is going to do anything that nuanced. I think having a revolving door perma squadmember based on LI would be a nightmare for Bioware, plus what about the people who didn't romance, do they get one less squadmember?

One of the items on the wishlist is "come to terms with her origins." Of all the items on the list, it's the one that resonates most with me. "The only things I can take credit for are my mistakes" broke my heart and wanting to soothe her somehow is why I'm here, along with her competence. But what does that coming to terms look like?

Accept her gifts as owned by herself and not someone else. That's at the core of it. How that might come to be, there are different possibilities. Confronting her father...or doing something really big on her own initiative and not as part of someone else's plans. If she is a free agent in ME3, that would offer her some possibilities.

BTW, there has been a good start at the end of her LM: "As much as he tried to turn me into exactly what he wanted... I'm my own person."

Killing [her father] would just prove that his influence on her still remains and will forever now. She should prove that she is her own person by turning his back on him and walking away.

And then Shepard puts on a hole in his head. You can't trust Mr.Lawson.

Indeed. And that would be the place for a Paragon/Renegade decision.
