Problem is you get so used to the pristine perfection of magazine shoots or even perfect makeup on screen that when you do see them in a more normal setting the contrast is quite jarring.Taboo-XX wrote...

They trimmed the edges of her body and applied lighting to make her look thinner. Looking at her other photos I'd say they trim off more than you think.
It's all a lie. A big fat one.
She's beautiful but that isn't an entirely accurate representation of her.

If you've ever seen a celebrity in real life without make up it can be really off putting.

I have some soldiers here who are in absolutely perfect shape, and they would be turned down for being too big. The thing is, the standard that Hollywood sets is almost unachievably, not to mention incredibly unhealthily, high.
To look like the way they want you too, you practically have to be a skeleton with skin. It's disgusting really.
