I'm not exactly looking for a change of the endings. More something of value in general.
Like LotSB where you met the mighty Shadow Broker and got tons of info on all characters (some more questionable than others... ).
If there is something like that in Leviathan, I am happily paying the 6 euros or so. It's just that from the trailers, it looked like any other n7 mission: "go rescue that scientist ... for reasons"

I'm not in a rush to buy it, mostly because I don't really have time to play at the moment. I'll probably try it eventually, though.

...The ME2 squaddies aren't part of the normal crew.  You're just getting re-mad about something you were already mad about.  It's sorta the same as the nameplate scene Miranda missed out on.

And yes, I think she shoulda been part of all that, but she wasn't and that probably wasn't going to change for a DLC...

Well in the preview gameplay vid of Leviathan they have one of your squadmates talk to you before you go underwater.  It's not a stretch to think they'd add romance flags and content for that scene.

PS: Leviathan adds content to Catalyst talk in endgame: twitter.com/ME3News/status/236964779397349376

IT COULD BE WORSE.

Do you remember the discussion we had a few months ago about Miranda, The Catalyst and Werner Herzog?

Yeah...it could've ended up like that.

It's going to be very interesting for you Ieldra. Leviathan I mean.

Looking at it now it looks like everyone's ending is going to be okay.

The point is to have fun.
I appreciate the ME universe beyond Miranda and the setting for "Leviathan" seems interesting. I'm going to buy this DLC and continue asking for one focusing on the ME2 characters.
Boycotting will just ensure the chance of such a low priority DLC being made is zero.

Yeah, the DLC does seem very interesting.  I'm downloading it as we speak.  Time to try out my new guns I bought from the last DLC.

I agree!  I'll keep asking for a DLC for Miranda!  They have to give in to us!  They just have to!  Please, bioware!    You don't want to hear harby say... "This hurts you!"  with my wallet.

Also Mind Flayers. You guys know what those are right?

Dear me...

This isn't just another rescue mission. This has some legitimate **** in it. Like **** that needed to be in the game originally.

Like real bad.

Not revealing any story details Levithan is pretty much meh.  You get a little more information about how the Reapers came to be which is really neat but outside of 400 EMS points, the Argus shotgun, a few new weapons mods, and the return of Dominate as a bonus power there really isn't any reason to pay $10 for this DLC. It's more Overlord than Lair of the Shadow Broker.

I loved Overlord. I may actually like it more than LotSB. The ending hits me in the feels.

I have disposable income at this time. I'll buy it because.

Opinions, opinions!

I gotta stop reading spoilers.

Now there's a part I'm annoyed about.

Watched the end of that mission. The visuals are pretty sweet and once again I was struck by how great it could've been.

But ultimately, yeah, still a fail because they insist on their damned artistic bull****.

Also surprisingly it does not invalidate the ending I thought it would.

The synopses i've heard suggest it does make an attempt to invalidate certain ending choices.

Oh it does. But not the one I thought would be sabotaged. That's next on the chopping block I'm sure....

Screw that, there's three of them and we know where they are.  Nuke em from space, they don't have magic shields.

Leviathan : great gameplay, decent plot and content. Some good squaddie dialogue but some dumb shepard moments. Does nothing for the endings but better than overlord etc. Not as good as LoSB. Took me a leisurely few hours and worth way more of my time/money than expected.

With the Reapers gone, they escape, multiply and own us all.

Besides they got plenty of radiation shielding where they're hiding. You don't have a Death Star handy, you can't just blow up the planet.

Is there a relay near that planet?

Ask the batarians how that goes.

I killed the Geth and I like them, Leviathans are a field trip...

I see a #FindLeviathan hashtag is being used on twitter for this DLC.

That's a good idea, we should try to come up with something like that.

To fair we don't know how they breed. You still have head canon. No one has been ****ed over yet.

I agree! Why didn't someone here do that!?! If only we'd thought of that first!

Not sure, I don't think it's in that system.

And you're conveniently ignoring the part where they just leave before you can mobilize.

But is it your problem all those years down the road?

To be honest anything could happen.

POSSIBILITIES.
